I'm wondering if a certain engineering company would be interested in providing entry fees for a team, in return for parking a rather larger sign written transit van in a prominent place, maybe in front of a TV camera.

Has anybody thought about getting sponsored for the event for charity?
Just an idea, I've done a couple of events for CLIC Sargent http://www.clicsargent.org.uk/Home which is a kid's cancer charity and a worthwhile cause. I think it might give me an incentive to train harder and take it more seriously as I'm such a lazy f<s></s>ucker
or maybe for the Aidan Wray trust thing? I know xc wasn't his thing but it would make it more worthwhile. Between everyone on the list so far we could no doubt raise quite a few quid, perhaps for a couple of charities?
I wouldn't mind helping to organise it all if people are up for it

Just a quick question. Im starting training now on a fixie until i get the training bike followed by the new proper bike.
Quick question the mrs may be pushed into taking part however that depends if the permit 29ers?? as she'd be on a rigid SS 29er. Unless I can source a loaner for her from somewhere.
