24hr Cakefest Ultimate Updated Version 3

Hokay, so somehow I didn't notice this thread once it became sticky'd, and just had to read 15 pages.

I'm still up for competitive, and am currently doing about 35 fast miles a day, five days a week (commute) with a long off road one at the weekend, and will increase it as the year wears on. Ergo I will happily race as a team of four, two (if ddoogie still wants to) of solo if needs be. One way or another I will be there.

Not wanting to race but some info if wanted. T'is a great idea and very nice to here alot of enthusiasm. I did Mayhem last year (albeit underage) and it was by far the most fun race I've been at, considering how damn serious the NPSs are. The course was good fun with an absolute mammoth climb, but at times did get quite boring . And although safe whn night came it did get very dull at times. What's worse is that the Sleepless course, although having more work done to it, is still riding round a field and worse than that of Mayhem.

Why not try 24/12? The course is far more technical than any other 24 hour race, and there is the added addition of hot-tubs and 12 hours if people don't want to go the full didtance.

TBH, at D2D, just as much fun and frivolity was had whilst we weren't riding. Yes I know the enduro courses can be a bit on the boring side, but, we will have people taking part on DH bikes!
