So the top three extend their lead and Kuss is still in Red.
Does that mean the conspiracy theories can end? Doubt it.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

He seems happy enough. Meh, don't even get some infighting to keep it interesting.

Doesn't look particularly happy to me.
Only caught the final 500 m.
Guess his team mates have again tried to shaft him.

  • No, doesn’t seem like it.
Still Kuss looks to be finally running out of GT gas.

    Wasn't that keen on Jonas

  • Hoping that the smile on Kuss' face is because the DS said that whoever is in red at the end of this stage keeps it. He seemed way too happy.

Unless he's thinking about murdering some birthday cake....

Hinault all over again. Proving that Kuss is worthy.
  • At least one of them should have stayed with their team leader.

Just hope Pog can be the strongest rider next year... not either of those two.

Pretty defeatist interview from Sepp - almost an I've been told my place.....

Hard to know what to make of that interview. Really wish Netflix was following them here.

Pretty defeatist interview from Sepp - almost an I've been told my place.....

I think it came across as him trying to stay on message whilst making a point e.g. 'I'll work for them like I always do' or something to that effect and mentioning how he'd like a chance for himself. He seems to just lack the killer instinct.

How hard are the remaining stages? Has Kuss done enough?

I think he was quite happy Roglic took some seconds off him at the end. Certainly seems less friendly with Jonas and the same yesterday where he gave him the minimal celebration.

Such a load of bollox being talked by Roglic and Jonas in their interviews. If he hopes Kuss stays in red why ride away when there is no-one in touch from any other team?

How did JV decide the winner today if they can't decide the red jersey winner?

I think it showed the first sign of belief that he can win a GT. Even if he doesnt win this one.

I know it gets Na_ta's hackles up when he is criticised but Jonas really doesn't come across well in interviews.

I don' know how you come to that conclusion. Doesn't stand a chance in another GT unless Vinegegaard, Roglic, Pogacar and Evanapoel are not in it. This is his only hope and if JV don't support him to win then they are a heartless shambles.

So tomorrow is a tough day where Vingegaard could get the missing time. Maybe he needs to sleep on it tonight.

Hmm, not sure he belongs in the list to be honest.

Now the DS is playing the 'we didn't hear his message' card. It's like those TV appearances by Comical Ali at the start of the Gulf War.

They seem to all be saying that the best man should win and that they would like it be Kuss. It's the same as Hinault. No gifts.

It would help if they occasionally offered some help. Zero from either.
Obviously both of them thought that a rear wheel wasn't a suitable birthday present.

Sorry, I think you havent followed the thread. I was not commenting on whether I think Kuss can win a GT. I was commenting that I felt his interview suggested he felt he could win one.
