No love lost at the front of the race. 🤣
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

Well, at least the 3 breakaway riders provided some amusing entertainment.

Thomas looking comfortable, Carthy gains a few seconds, Dunbar had a good go but got caught by the leaders group a few metres from the line. Slightly dull GC stage all things considered but Thomas will be glad to see it over with no loss of time / bonus seconds.

Wasn't it Rubio that De Gendt took out the back for sitting on when Ganna won that mountain stage in 2020?

Pretty tame from the GC group

He was sounding petulant in his interview. Once he lost time he should have been committing himself to a helping role.
I think every interview I've heard with him has been about how he can maximize his income from cycling
Yeah, that was a weird thing to say. 'No money in making top 10'. He won't be maximising his income from contracts with that attitude.

Decent chunk of racing but everyone is going to question the short course in hindsight

Judging from that grin, he's more than happy.
Hatch describing it as a disappointing stage.
    I would go further...

Quite amusing attitude of "I've got a four year deal - I don't really care what the team want for their social media". At least, amusing as long as it's not happening in your team, obviously...

Exactly, you might think it but if he really just rides to maximise income saying it seems counter productive.

Felt a bit for Pinot but it'd be interesting to know how much of that was sandbagging from Rubio - I admit he had me fooled.
