Maybe that the driver needs a bit of remedial training. Or shouldn't be driving a police van. Or driving at all.0 -

And crash helmets. I have no symapthy for a driver hitting an inanimate object, they should concentrate on driving. If they were paying attention would they have hit the bollards?pblakeney said:

Has anyone seen the "11ft8" videos?
Or "Milwaukee Roundabout"?
Its gonna be a long winter, but these should help.0 -
I’m sure I once rode an LVRC road race that went through that ford. Fortunately it was in the middle of summer so it was only about a foot deep. Which is just as well as you hit doing about 25mph+.veronese68 said:

A bit embarrassing for her that there was a learner driver getting straight through on the other side of the road. Also, the google streetview shows a Luton van getting through.
Both of them took it a fair bit slower too - coincidence?

I am sure I saw a bus go through on the other side going in the opposite direction which suggest that the pinch point is only on the side nearest the camera.monkimark said:A bit embarrassing for her that there was a learner driver getting straight through on the other side of the road. There's a bus lane in the middle, both 'normal' traffic lanes have restrictions, possibly the far side is less narrow but if a Luton van can get through the nearside then all of the people who crashed should be able to manage it by going a bit slower.pinno said:

Not really into Vintage cars but if you really want, you can buy me a Bugatti Atlantic Coupe, type 57 for my birthday.

The original GT40 had a pleasing functional aesthetic. So did the d-type (better proportioned than the e-type).0

Or if you insist on having a rear engined cars with shitty air cooled engines, a Carmen Ghia.

Karmann.
Mine's water cooled thank you.
The last air cooled 911 was the 993 produced after the 964 from 93(?) to 98(?). All editions since are water cooled.
Flat 6 Boxster engines: sh1.t off a shovel.
What?! Horrible thing. Ford won Le man in it and then gave up their interest (won with privateers after that). A fleeting moment in motorsport history where they chucked millions of US dollars at it and put a huge low revving lump in it. Because all Ford wanted to do was beat Ferrari.First.Aspect said:The original GT40 had a pleasing functional aesthetic.
Crush the lot of them.
