As above, I think some riders gave turbo riding a real go during the pandemic and have found another level.

Hmmmm, racing on Zwift has created a new super generation of cyclists. I'm not convinced.
Isn't it more likely that those old school riders who couldn't hack turbo training during lockdown might be struggling for form a bit now compared to those who took to it a bit better. Not the turbo per se, but those who were able to train better during the lockdown.

All hinges on whether these guys are really doing the same numbers as they were before. Bernal said the same as well.
More money in it, so those promising athletes that went into other spendier sports are more attracted to cycling.

Haha - Cav uses Alpecin leadout to get the half point that's still available.

That was embarrassing from Alpecin-Fenix, Cav just mugged them.

He is in the commentary box with Ned and Dave

Ah right - actually him or someone that looks like him? Seems random!

I remember him talking about his podcast where he rides around talking about stuff.
He has videos on youtube, watched one yesterday evening, part 5 Holborn to Buckingham palace, purely because it covers a lot of places I used to work in the big smoke, and it's bl00dy hilarious, his observations, and commentary.
Just one example, he's riding down a fairly average road, taxi goes past on his right, and then there is perhaps a 90 degree turn, a guy on an electric scooter is riding on the wrong side of the road closest to the taxi, and ssythes past and off to the left somewhere.
I was thinking exactly this, and Alexei simply says "dick" and then carries on with the ride.

I'll be watching all of them, forgotten quite how brilliant his humour is, hoping to see him on stage sometime soonish.
