    Did Rolland really not know the stage finishes down the bottom?

    I didnt until today 😶. It is a bit weird for a Ventoux finish....

    He had a 22 min lead aT the bottom of the ventoux ... Grovelled up lost nearly all.of it won the stage by less than 3 mins I think

    The obvious issue with a summit finish on Ventoux if you're doing it twice is getting the team buses up it.

    They showed an interview on Eurosport earlier where I think he said he's trying to avoid stressing too much about the Tour, so hadn't looked at it in detail until it was mentioned. He'd just assumed it was a summit finish.
