Ewan down, Sagan down, Merlier wins. Ewan may have to crawl across the line to stay in the race.

Roglic, Mas, Lopez coming in a minute or so back.

Ewan won't be continuing, still down (moving but in pain)

Not sure what happened to Ewan, but he took out Sagan. Sagan was my PTP pick on the basis he rarely falls, but there wasn't much he could do there.

Sagan is a liability, whilst that actual crash was Ewan touching a wheel Sagan barged about 3 or 4 riders in the matter of a couple of hundred metres.
In fact, I'd go far as to say that the way the peleton as a whole is riding is reckless, the one on the S bend that saw a rider launching involving Demare was them going in way too fast.
Take the helmets off them and they might think a bit more about self preservation and not have the crashes that injures them or puts them out of the race/tage.

If I ever feel like taking up racing again watching something like that changes my mind.

Exciting to watch but not what you want to see.

Carapaz the only GC rider in the front group.

    Nibali, Fuglsang, Quintana, Kelderman, +14s

    Pogacar, Uran, Mollema, Gaudu +26s

Thomas also at +26s. And Porte and G.Martin
