Anyone else thinking how good a job it sounds to be the one driving around creating the Tour route? I'd love that. No doubt you get a few brown envelopes to include certain towns as a bonus.

Dream job. I'd have to check the local levels of horse and cow quality as well.

Who are Ineos missing? Hatch saying TGH but I think he is the one about two thirds down the peloton on his own.

    This could be crashy

Yeah the bit into the final climb looked nasty even with the smaller women's peloton

Looks like it might be Kwia, couldn't see any rainbow bands on the sleeves.

Christ that was huge and fast.
Napoleon, don't be jealous that I've been chatting online with babes all day. Besides, we both know that I'm training to be a cage fighter.
  • That’s gonna end a few GC hopes

Horrible that. Riders flying into a ditch. Looked like a spectator in a blue jersey got flattened by several falling riders.

DQS riding so Alaphilippe is there.
Only question mark seems to be Pogacar

Could be lots out of contention now, no holding back this time. DQS and Ineos intact but most others affected. Froome looks down and out.

Seemed to be a touch of wheels that caused that one, but worse because the pace was on

Pog caught behind but just been brought back to the front. Stressful afternoon for him.

Not that I thought Froome was going to be able to do much, but would be a huge shame if he had to go home already.

Doesn't seem to be any GC favourites affected somehow. Much bigger group surviving than I'd thought.
