What about Uno X.0

What about them? They've not shown anything this year to suggest they deserve a Tour ride.0

Biggest "Transfer" news this winter is surely that the Ineos Grenadier (the real, car one) has finally arrived and is available to buy!

Not sure being able to outdrink a pro cyclist is much of a claim!0

After saying he wasn't moving to UAE earlier this week, today the team announced that Jay Vine is joining them on a two-year deal.0

Super strong signing for the Tour.PTP Champion 2019, 2022 & 20230

*tumbleweed* on Cav... please dont let it end this way1

Seems silly. Ineos should sign him for minimum money and get the record. They aren't going to be doing anything big at the Tour anyway.PTP Champion 2019, 2022 & 20235

That would be a nice plan. Market it as an exiting GB rider handing on to the youngsters etc.m.r.m. said:Seems silly. Ineos should sign him for minimum money and get the record. They aren't going to be doing anything big at the Tour anyway.

They also have Viviani, who would make a great lead out man. And big engines to pull breaks back like Ganna & Sheffield. Not going to happen though.carbonclem said:

Great shout - realistically they have no hope, and bob hope of winning the tour in 2023, where as targeting stages and the taking the overall stages won crown in that jersey you would have thought would be worth a fair amount.super_davo said:

Shame it will almost certainly not come to fruition.
The B&B situ sounds dire, seems likely that most of his eggs were in that basket, I hope he can find a viable alternative.Felt F70 05 (Turbo)

There's a write up on GCN that basically has Cav going to INEOS as described. Fairly substantial rumours to the effect at least.
Would be great but not holding breath

Sadly, I suspect that says as much about Bernal's recovery as anything else.JimD666 said:There's a write up on GCN that basically has Cav going to INEOS as described. Fairly substantial rumours to the effect at least.

Might give them something to do whilst they're getting their July GC house in order.================================

Getting the record in the British Champs jersey is significant for a British team. It's a win-win for everyone.PTP Champion 2019, 2022 & 20231

Ah true. Wasn't sure if the British RR is prior to the TdF.PTP Champion 2019, 2022 & 20230

British? I'm sure Ratcliffe would register the team in France if there was a tax break for him.m.r.m. said:Getting the record in the British Champs jersey is significant for a British team. It's a win-win for everyone.

The contrary is true. French teams, as French companies, have to pay employment tax which puts them at a disadvantage. I've often wondered why AG2R don't set up shop in Switzerland which is not far from Chambery. FdJ (government funded) and Cofidis (like Ineos owned by the sponsor) can'tTwitter: @RichN950 -
Ineos just announced the Ben Turner extension, so maybe they are on a roll?2020/2021/2022 Metric Century Challenge Winner0

The riders at Ineos dont appear to be employees though. unless you think 4m euro is their team salary budget and that there are only 10 or so employees that aren’t riders.RichN95. said:wakemalcolm said:

Been Swiss would effect their French persona, which undoubtedly helps on the face of it. They'd be just another foreign team when in France.RichN95. said:wakemalcolm said:
