    O'rly?
You can mentally add in parenthetically, ...paid like a multiple GT winner [for past performances, that he is unlikely to repeat again].

Didnt think he was happy there but might be too expensive for most teams and JV and UAE have their candidates for GC

Robbie McEwan has been dropped by the ausi broadcaster.

He is an actual good English speaking commentator - ITV need to get him!

Swap him out for Ned - ideal.

    When did they do that?
He was commentating on the national championships yesterday.

George Bennett on moving to UAE.

"I haven’t ridden with Tadej yet but I’ve ridden against him, of course, many times. I’m looking forward to not having to chase him down. "

Has nobody told him that he will have to keep up with him for the most part on the hard days? 🤣🤣🤣

Also - "Still, riding a Colnago equipped with Campag… how cool is that." Gotta agree. 😉
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

Velonews getting all excited because Pidcock's contract ends this year and hasn't been renewed yet. He's quoted as saying various teams interested.

Interesting - so far it would seem Ineos are giving the freedom and backing to pretty much anything he wants, so I'd be surprised if he went elsewhere.
I guess he will be aiming to have a really good year, and hence boost his earning potential for the next contract - he seems incredibly switched on, I'm sure this is already factored in.

First part of the project, make sure Pavel keeps the rubber side down.

I was going to say at least they'll stop chasing down every attack he makes but then I remembered, it's Movistar.

Indeed, it wasn't most mutual of partings was it, and I was going to say for that fact it seems highly unlikely, but then Sam Bennett came to mind.........

Doesn't every Ineos/Sky star get linked to a move away in their contract year as a negotiating ploy? Thomas, Bernal, Pidcock, etc. The exception was Froome who doesn't have an agent.

Do Ineos need him? Obviously with the uncertainty around Bernal, they might, but they have a lot of potential GC leaders to keep happy. With Valverde set to retire, and down to a single prong on their trident, I'd argue Movistar need him more and, with a sponsor with significant business interests in South America, can probably offer a better contract than Ineos.

I think they need him for two more years, due to Bernal and Thomas aging. Yates, TGH and Sivakov are a level below., IMO. Then it'll be Rodriguez, Plapp and maybe Pidcock

I think SDB isn't well enough to start any new project like in the days of old unfortunately. I really liked having him very active in cycling.

I’m probably wrong, but I think they really do need him over the next couple of years.

Thomas won’t win another GT, Bernal will likely take 2 years to get back and the youngsters are probably a couple of years off.

Yates, TGH and Sivakov aren’t at the level of challenging Jumbo or UAE for GT wins.

Not really a surprise - where else would he have gone? And taking into account his multi discipline racing. Specialized/Trek might have been interested, but would the teams they supply have been as happy?
