Pidcock seems to get out of the saddle a bit more than the others - does that mean he struggles for traction a bit more on the gravel sometimes though?

Wouldn’t have thought so. Smaller guys do this more on the whole

Given how Pidcock was repeatedly looking back to the cars a while back I reckon he's not had enough to eat.

Was a comment from Dani Rowe earlier that made me think of it. Presume it's because you can't help but be a bit less smooth on the pedal stroke.

Hoping Bernal doesnt 'help' Pidcock too much. If Tom's done, he's done. Let Bernal have a crack....

    She knows more than me.

My take is traction is not really a problem on gravel when going up

    MvdP and JA,

Bernal couldn't keep up but stays 3rd on the road on his own

    WvA, Pog, Pidcock, Gogl behind

Bernal is gonna get back on. JA not mad keen to work

    10 to go

Having seen that happen, the chances of Alaphilippe wanting to work here are approaching zero. Bernal seems in good nick, doesn't he?

Edit - And with that, Bernal gets back on

    How does Bernal win this..?

He's going to have to surprise the others and hope they watch each other for a few seconds...

The final climb isn't long enough is it... vdP can probably ride the whole thing at 800 watts or something absolutely ludicrous

All the front three apparently riding for now. Bernal bit caught - I suspect if he tries sitting on he'll risk JA going off the front.

    It would be fun.

I had MvdP for PTP and I think he still looks the strongest.
