See, after that charge down, england just pass it wide to player after player standing still. When there's eventually a breakdown it's literally a step or two for the next french player to hug the ball and win a penalty. He's literally closer that the nearest english player

France definitely wanting and succeeding in putting a big marker down ahead of the WC.
Aldritt back in form having been very average in the previous games.

A better start to the second half

I think that was a try personally

    Can't see how that wasn't a try.
Control is irrelevant. Just downward pressure which there was and it ddn't go forward.

Is van Poortvliet really the best scrum half available to England?

Answer to that seems to be no.

Yeah, he seemed to stay in contact with it so no knock on for me. They got there in the end though.

Smith playing like an old school fly half and trying to avoid contact at all cost there.

Ramos rips through the English defence and it could be another try…..

Great awareness by the French player though and well spotted by the ref.

    Smart by France.
Their second row who has scored twice is some player.

England getting humped and now playing an 8 in the centre....

Smith is having a mare in the second half.
Dupont sends them back 60 metres…

France getting themselves in trouble trying to run it out from their own line.

Really doesn't help having Farrell brought on, and so wrong him taking over captaincy whilst Genge still there.

Analysis at its finest “if England had taken a few of their chances it would be a different score”. To think they get paid for that sort of thing.

Could be conceding 50 points here.

Ouch! Wales could easily lose by 70 or 80 next week based on this.

    Utter humiliation.

It would be stopped if it was a boxing match.
It’s becoming uncomfortable to watch, not least because Wales have this to look forward to next weekend.

    Meanwhile, England go to Ireland….

France still defending like it is a single score game. I think it’s pretty clear that the ex-coach Wales were missing most wasn’t Gatland.

So true, and the RFU should have nabbed him when they could.

Wales could have kept him, were it not for the numpties in charge of the purse strings.

Chuck in getting rid of Andy Farrell and the success he has gone on to with Ireland…
