No decisions going Italy’s way but that was poor discipline taking out the player in the air. Never even set up to take the ball and knew they had an advantage so just leave it and go back for the penalty.

Italy have played really well a man down and get a deserved try.

Great start by Italy to the second half.

Not sure I like the way Wales are setting up in defence. I get that they are trying to stop the ball being spread but far to easy for Italy to break through.

Officials trying to find reasons not to give a red there. For me a red would have been too much but think it was the same player who took a man in the air just before half time.

I’ve said it before but this new held up rule is stupid. Poor finish by Adams though.

Didn't feel like a red as his two previous handoffs had been almost text book.
Wales trying to exploit his wing now.

More like the Wales of the first three rounds at the moment.

Ooh and that’s pisspoor defending by Italy.

Rhys Webb making a huge difference and surely has won the game now.

Yeah, victim of the ridiculous 60 cap rule wasn’t he? Half backs have got things moving much better although I like Biggar being there defensively.

The amount of caps some of these players I don’t even think of as regulars have under their belts now. Compare with Charlie Faulkner who died recently, one of the Welsh front row greats, only had 19 caps

Italian captain is a bit of a snowflake

He's frustrated with nothing going their way.
Williams was never getting that high ball and jumping forward from that distance is dangerous if you make contact. Again a 50:50 decision that on another day would be a penalty and possibly a yellow.
The scrum before, the Welsh loosehead was on his kness first before the drive that was given as a Welsh penalty. Ref was on the other side but it was the wrong call from the camera side.

Williams had his eyes on the ball throughout and given how good he is under a high ball it was a reasonable challenge.

After last year’s match I’m not confident this is over yet.

The amount of crossing, it’s like American Football!

If Italy had some composure they'd have this won.

Wales really have reverted to type since Webb was replaced. I hate half backs being replaced when they are doing well.

At least Italy won the Oscar, late on.

Felt like quite a few high tackles went unpunished on both sides. Nothing malicious but I’ve got so used to everything getting reviewed in detail by the TMO with cards issued for marginal decisions I was surprised how many with left unchecked.

It didn’t take France long to rip England apart.

Good simple fast rugby. Run straight and don't take the space outside.

It really is a simple game when played well. I hate the way players seem incapable of running straight, committing their opposite number and offloading. It seems they’re either looking for contact or drifting sideways all the time.

Any idea what the French penalty was for. Commentators to busy blowing smoke up their @rses and no replay?

Nice blocking by the England blindside on the French prop there. How was he allowed to get away with that?

Is van Poortvliet really the best scrum half available to England?

With France, it really just is doing the simple, u12s rugby stuff well...

So many penalties and so many handling errors.
O'Keefe has been good bar missing the French forward standing up just as JvP was about to pass which was a classic Kiwi tactic.

    And France score a third.

    England getting schooled.
    Lucky to have 3 points.
    So ponderous and prescriptive.

    France instinctual.

Different class so far. I pity Wales next week taking on France in Paris.
