Offside there surely? There was a player doing an NFL blocking run!
Wales looking far better so far than of late, I really don’t get them.0 -
20 years ago people would bite your hand off for those seats in a game against the Aussies. There’s just too many international matches these days and we seem to play 2 of the southern hemisphere big 3 every year plus ticket prices are ridiculous.Dorset_Boy said:
Mind you would you want to be up the very top there? Not good if you have any inclining of vertigo!Pross said:Nice to see empty seats at the Principality for the WRU topping up the bank balance challenge match.
I see grand dad is starting.

For the Welsh try? Surprised they didn't look at it.Pross said:Offside there surely? There was a player doing an NFL blocking run!

Yeah, don’t think it was deliberate but he definitely got in the way of the defender.Dorset_Boy said:

£75 for those tickets up top in the corner.0
-
Problem is I think the clubs that take them have to pay for them if they aren’t sold so it is clubs with limited resources that end up footing the bill. They’ll probably start taking fewer in future.0
-
How many Welsh changes from last week?
Good second try by TF.0 -
Not sure, theoretically it’s a weakened team due to be outside the window. Wales are the most inconsistent team out there, Australia are terrible though.
AWJ may be knocking on but he’s having a stormer so far. Jac Morgan has been superb.0 -
Commentary said the aussies have 40 unavailable!
Quite a large number of the team are highly unlikely to make the RWC squad0 -
Yeah, thought I’d misheard and it was 14. 40 sounds unlikely.0
-
Ref clearly gives the held up signal and commentator thinks they lost it forward. Blown a chance there and should probably be out of sight by now.0
-
That’s a pretty destructive maul from Wales on two occasions now.0
-
Carley can be so frustrating. Too often he just decides only one team is infringing and referees them off the park.
Wales totally on top nonetheless.
Hope Anscombe's shoulder is OK, he's had some tough years.0 -
Never been a huge fan of Anscombe but he’s been very good today so shame to see him get injured.0
-
Was about to disagree with Warburton that the yellow from Tipuric was a good one as they would probably score a try in the next 10 minutes and also be a man short. Always feel it is better to take a chance on conceding the try. Wales have done their usual trick of falling asleep when they think the game is won.1
-
Certainly inconsistent there, he didn’t card the Aussies for persistently collapsing the maul earlier in the half. I get that they weren’t as close to the line but there were several back to back including at least one in the 22.Dorset_Boy said:Carley can be so frustrating. I assume they’ve given up on forward passes being a thing. Wales getting what they deserve though, they were out of sight with 20 minutes to go. Pivac is going to be at the job centre on Monday but the players have really let him down today.0
-
Wow, what a come back by australia! Dead and buried.
Is that curtains for Pivac?0 -
Probably and deservedly so but the WRU need to completely rethink the structure of the game. 4 regions isn’t enough to develop strength in depth and to then put restrictions on picking players playing elsewhere is ridiculous. The players need to hold their hands up today though and Tipuric really needs to think back on the trip, it was completely unnecessary.Dorset_Boy said:Wow, what a come back by australia! Doddie Weir has lost his battle with MND. I know everyone knew it was coming but a sad day. He’s fought so hard and done so much for others suffering with that horrible disease.0

That bit of commentary didn't age well.Pross said:Was about to disagree with Warburton that the yellow from Tipuric was a good one as they would probably score a try in the next 10 minutes and also be a man short. Giving the penalty and getting carded never seems to work out well. Take the hit and try to regroup from the restart. Even more so when you have a decent lead.kingstongraham said:

Yes, exactly. Don’t do anything that takes you off the pitch, it was a disastrous lack of discipline, compounded by the fact that we lost 7 points immediately after from the resulting penalty.
What a predictably poor last 30 mins.0 -
No way should that Saffa try stand. Clear step across the line of the England kick chaser to obstruct.
Great swerve to finish mind.0 -
Not a good game at all up to the last 60 seconds.0
-
Oh, and RIP Doddie0
-
And that should have been a yellow against England, warning on warning.0
-
Curry's yellow - ref doesn't know the difference between a ruck and a maul, which is worrying. Clearly a collapsed maul, so no requirement for Curry to move!0
-
England out muscled again by SA.
Attack coach is incompetent - how can a side with JvP and Marcus Smith struggle so badly in attack?
Lineout has also been awful0 -
Flatman - can you count you idiot? Saffa scrum has 8. They put a back in there. I know you were a donkey, but perlease.....0
