Before the HIA rule came in they were lax, the treatment of North was negligent and I said it at the time, but I can't recall any issues since HIA came in0
-
Wales guilty of not rolling away at most of these tackles. Ref has now spotted the last couple.0
-
Did Ellis Jenkins get injured or has he just been dropped? Moriarty gives away far too many penalties.
Wales lucky to only be 12 down, they can't be that bad in the second half surely?0 -
Wales practised that one in the first half0

Not sure what Ellias was moaning about, idiot.0

Every promising break ends up with no support. Fucking awful0
-
As I predicted it’s one way traffic.
France well ahead of both these teams.

Wales aren't keeping hold of the ball long enough, and making poor decisions ball in hand.Pross said:Every promising break ends up with no support. censored awful

Talk about inconsistent refereeing. Itoje flops over the top of a ruck and does the same as Moriarty has been pinged for all game and the ref lets him get away with it
Welsh protection of their ruck ball is abysmal though, they were good there against the Scots0 -
Good pass for the try though very niaive defending by Steward.
Adams certainly knows where the try line is!0 -
That's poor defence by England, Biggar misses a simple conversion.0
-
Wales right back in this now.0

Simply cannot believe this is a 5 point game! The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.Veronese68 wrote:PB is the most sensible person on here.0 -
Cuthbert left isolated after a third good break, particularly annoying this time as they played to open him up and it has put it back to two scores0
-
Best Cuthbert has played in years.
Strange subs by both teams.0 -
Some poor game management there, 2 mins to go, penalty, player being patched up, and you kick to the corner and lose 30 secs of those 2 mins.0
-
Quick tap taken so far away from the penalty mark.0

That's a yellow, bottled.0

Quite a second half and not over yet..0
-
Weird old game, England dominated it and yet their only try was a gift. Wales discipline and lineout let them down and disappointing at the breakdown.0

Just nuts!blazing_saddles said:

France will destroy them both based on performances to date. The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.

A farcical situation has developed in Ireland. Through injury and a red card, Italy forced into taking a second player off to bring a front row on. In effect, one red card forcing them to play with just 13 men for a full hour.
This rule definitely needs to be booted asap. ITV commentator called it as now being a training game."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -
Agreed. It's a double punishment, especially when it's clear the starting hooker is genuinely injured. Totally ruins the game, and hands Ireland a huge points advantage.

Just turned on and saw the red card. Definite contact to the head but it also felt like the player dipped going into contact making it contact on the chin when it would have been the chest. I would have mitigated it down to a yellow but then by now players ought to know they need to get right down.0

Not sure where you go with the uncontested scrums. Before this law change I've seen several games where Pontypool's pack were demolishing the opposition at the scrum only for a series of mystery injuries resulting in uncontested scrums.0
-
Ireland's lead is only 1 point more than England's was at this point yesterday. Goes to show how bad Wales were in the first half.0
-
That's been the problem with sides gaming the situation, but this was a clear match ending injury to the starter.Pross said:Not sure where you go with the uncontested scrums. A solution is a register of positions players can play, so you may have a prop who is registered as capable as playing hooker, as an example.
There was a farcial sitaution last season in the Tigers vs Bristol game where Bristol tried to cheat and go uncontested, but suddenly the orginally injured prop was miraculously fit when they realised they'd have to go to 13 otherwise.0 -
That looked like a forward pass, seemed like the TMO couldn't be bothered to check it properly0

Hearing Itly down to 12. Officials with zero empathy?
