BBC's Scottish members of commentary team are so one eyed it's tedious.

Scots have come back into the game well. Their openside is doing well.

Scotland demonstrate how not to exploit a 3 on 1!
  • Unfortunately England's worst 'top level' referee is in charge of Scotland vs France. Karl Dickson should be reffing level 4, bnot internationals. He's utterly woeful.

    He's not doing very well.

He handed Leicester 17 points against Bath last week in a game won by 4 due to terrible decisions.
He was TMO when Bristol were awarded a 20 point swing against Bath in round 2, again due to huge reffing errors.
He regularly makes howlers and is incredibly inconsistent.
You'd expect a lot better from an ex scrum half you'd think.

France have hit the hammer both sides of half time.

I am now playing catch up (15 minutes in) and agree with both your opening posts.

I have often said this about Scottish commentary team before.

Having said that, I apologised beforehand for the Welsh excuse for a pundit we are most likely to suffer on ITV.
Wannabe celebrity Gareth Thomas makes me cringe with embarrassment.

The gap feels like it should be much more than 16 points.

The poor pass to / knock on by Hogg before half time was expensive.

I would say you are being kind.
    Some shocking decisions.

Controversial opinion - Hogg isn't anywhere near as good as commentators and Scottish supporters make out.

Wales always raise their game for this one, and Eddie's England aren't that great.

Hogg once was, and not so long ago, but is now on the decline.
I wonder how the game would have went if they'd scored the 2 chances before half time. French heads could have dropped. Something for England to look at.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

FFS, get a reprieve with a lucky penalty and then stupidly get caught trying to run it from their line and give away a penalty.

So Wales prop is straight to his knee but TJ gives him the penalty?
Too much guess work at scrums by officials.

A bit early to complain about the ref when you aren’t losing but winning.
What was that I just saw? Cuthbert with a scintillating break?

Oh look, another England penalty. ;)

That was more like Cuthbert in his first few caps. Shame the support were expecting Cuthbert of the most recent 40 caps and didn't get to him.

Wales making it too easy with all these penalties.
  • Mass casualties in the Welsh ranks.
Francis is going off permanently I reckon

The replay clearly showed the THP on his knee whilst the rest of the scrum was up.

Anyway, looks like Tomas Francis needs to be off for the match unfortunately after his bambi performance just then.
But looks like negligently he's still on. He was staggering and only the post kept him upright. Clearly KO'd.

The quality of this game is so poor after the previous match

Looks bad for LCD. His knee moved sideways with that impact.
A scrum for Wales to attack if he stays on.

This ref doesn't want a fast game.

What's Cuthbert been taking? Looks very keen to get his hands on the ball whereas a few years ago he looked like he was praying play would come nowhere near him

Back on so presumably not. Scrum looked better when he was off though

Tomas Francis back on, but there hasn't been 10 minutes of match play since he went for his HIA....
Oh, and he was KO'd so shouldn't be returning at all as you don't then get an HIA, you're just out.

I suspect the medics know what they are doing more than you. He was definitely off more than 10 minutes, time stopped for quite a while while LCD was treated.

The Welsh medics don't have a great record regarding concussions and letting players play on.
