Commentary team saying it was a polished Irish performance, I only saw the second half and all things considered didn't think they were that great. I suspect most people would have expected a score like that without Italy playing so long short handed.

To only score 26 points in the second half is very poor from Ireland. Against 13 there are holes everywhere and against 12 you should score everytime you have the ball.
Bet Andy Farrell won't be too happy.
  • Hearing Itly down to 12. Officials with zero empathy?

By the book and nothing but the book. Totally inflexible.
No excuse for officials operating at the top level, but are incapable of using flexible interpretation.

TMO was determined to get the yellow, the same TMO who couldn't be bothered checking properly for a forward pass on one of the tries.

Farrell was very gracious in his interview. Always seems a far different character to his son.

Could have done with that official for the Wales game then.

Aparently yesterday the scrum penalty count was 6-0 in Wales's favour, but the breakdowns significantly in England's favour.

I guess that's where interpretation of the laws comes in. Hard for players to adapt when every referee sees things so differently.

Have les bleus been this 'french' in all their games? Not the impression I've got from the media reports...

No, they’ve been very impressive. Fair play to Wales, they’re breaking the game down and getting France into a kicking scrap

As of last night, there were 20,000 seats available.
Talking to a chap in the pub who was desperately trying to offload some.

I guess £115 can be better spent on a Friday night.

Was just going to post about that. Looks like half an empty stand behind the posts

It's a dreadful game of rugby.
Fed up of kickers for touch taking 5m (Dan Biggar really takes the piss).
Worst performance by France for a while, so many un forced errors.

    Yes.
    It's a bit like watching England's last match. ;)

Fantastic kick, then great take by Faletau, but Jonathon Davis knocked on with the try line begging.

For all the French mistakes I can’t see Wales breaking their defence

Hmmm, I can see Wales getting lucky but can't see France turning it around...

Mind you psycho-french-baldy-scrum-half may have a different opinion

    Shaun Edwards.
I shouldn't laugh, but the WRU bring out the worst in me.

Fuck me this is frustrating to watch. Loads of possession and territory but no cutting edge.

No creativity from Wales other then kicks. Such slow ball at times and going backwards

That needed to stay on the pitch and get run back.

Eddie Butler is getting on my nerves tonight (I usually tolerate him as member of the great Pontypool team).

    ah c'est tout...

Jesus, hell of a performance from France. It's one thing to look good when it's all going your way but to absorb 60-70 mins of punishment like that is even more impressive...

Piss poor, all that ball in the second half and not a single point. Edwards' influence at its best there, no just in the solid defence but also in not giving kickable penalties

By far and away the weakest member of that team. He was as poor a player as he is a commentator.

Second half didn't improve at all, just a couple of moments of quality. The rest was really dire.

TBF there’s nothing more annoying then Jonathan Davies commentating on a Wales game. Absolutely no objectivity.

I would make every one of the Welsh/neutral idiots who can throw away 3 figures to watch that dross, donate £50 to Ukraine, to get out of the stadium.
