Ineos now trying to work in Group 2 but a lot of others not doing their bit. Still close enough that the front group can't mess around too much.

I reckon van baarle is just doing a training effort now.

  • Not gona lie, this race always leave me a bit flat.

It just doesn't inspire me like some of the other races.

9 riders up front with 20k to go, waiting for the inevitable attacks before the (almost) inevitable Wout win

I think it was too good too early and the race was split to pieces before coverage started.

Surprised the DQS duo in group 2 didn't work when Bennett had been throwing up.

Van Poppel tried to offer him a tow but he has sat right up and dropped it into the little ring now.

Bennett was never going to win, even if it wasn't chucking up. Good to see DQS messing when under pressure like they tend to.

Probably the most tactically astute win I've see from WVA. JV played it very well.

    Another excellent edition.
For once the UCI did something right given them back the missing 50kms
All in all, a great Flanders weekend.

Interesting sprint in Cholet pays de la Loire. Bouhanni puts Stewart in to the barriers rather than sprint in to gap in front of him.

Looks like Bouhanni has been disqualified as the initial results had him as third then on the last list he wasn’t showing. He needs banning for this sprint.
