Clearing the daft draft.0

Thanks for this, I will raise it as a bug.JimD666 said:

This current format is pretty unreadable. Whilst adverts are to be expected they are so intrusive and, for me, hurt my eyes when trying to read a page. The latest "Hammerhead" is particularly bad.
In addition, contect of forum overlaps onto the advert and can't be read.
A real mess and is putting off coming here.“You may think that; I couldn’t possibly comment!”

Is anyone else getting the Privacy Policy prompt every time you click on a new page within the forum? Tried logging out and back in but still happening.0

My former account does not have permission to log in.
No idea why, of course it doesn't say.
I contacted the admin several times about it, never got a reply.0 -
If I click on any thread the privacy disclaimer comes up every time.0

Same here, very irritating and will certainly drive traffic away. Not sure how long I'll put up with it.webboo said:If I click on any thread the privacy disclaimer comes up every time.
This is on an android phone using Firefox. Haven't tried on a PC today.0 -
I had that for ages on an older Mac laptop with an OS several versions out of date, but it magically fixed itself. Now get it occasionally on current iPad and Mac machines, plus the random logout issue.veronese68 said:

Hi
I made a new post on ‘Athletes and Statins’ this Saturday and on Sunday it ‘disappeared’.
Any ideas why please?
Thanks

It because your posts get flagged as spam.0
-
Hi
Just seen your comment.
All I’m doing is passing on the message that I found that statins and exercise are contraindicated.
Where is the spam in that?
Thanks
Bourg D’Oisans-2 -
Because you have registered just to post that. This a cycling forum yes people post stuff that they concerned about re health and fitness. But usually they describe what’s happened to them and what they have found out.
I suspect most cyclists of a certain age are aware of statins effecting performance also beta blockers but they don’t become all evangelical about it.1 -
Hi, just posted a reply to my original post, saw it had a spelling error so edited it, now it has vaporised into Moderation! Any idea if it will ever survive? There was now't wrong with it.
Sometimes. Maybe. Possibly.

Spam seems more prevalent than before. The post at 07:53 is a prime example, assuming it is still there! 🤣
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.Veronese68 wrote:PB is the most sensible person on here.0 -
The bikeradar logo at the top of the screen takes me to the forum home, I would expect it to take me to bikeradar home page.

The function to edit forum posts is no longer available?

Come on, admin, can you sort out an anti-spam filter system, please?

Click the three dots in the upper right corner and it's there.

FFS! Every time I log in I just see a long list of spam posts. Getting tedious now.
Sometimes. Maybe. Possibly.

Come on admin , please sort out the SPAM .

I mean, FFS, they haven't even got a filter for the word 'Viagra' in the subject line of posts. The amateur-ness of this is frankly unbelievable.

Temporary workaround is to go directly to the individual boards, such as Cake Stop, Pro Race, or whatever. Bookmark them for the time being, and hopefully someone at admin will realise there's a clusterfuck going on and sort something out before next Christmas.

There can't be any need to verify email, if an account is set up.
Anyhow, bikerumour.com has basically the same content in terms of reviews, and road.cc is good for the rest.

Hopefully they'll be in on Monday to sort it...too many to deal with.

Yeah, I've given up flagging. Must be dead simple for an admin to delete the few prolific spammers and turn on a basic spam filter.
