Kruijswijk and Buchmann will certainly have an eye on the podium. They'll most likely make it hard for JA.

What's the chance of the whole stage being cancelled leaving the GC unchanged.......

No official timing at the top according to Eurosport. They'll take time times at the intermediate sprint or another point where the group was all together

Do they do the mountain classification using chips or do they just have spotters?

Sorry, why can't they work out the timings from the TV recordings? Yes it might take a bit of work but as they know when the face rode by 0KM, and they know when they went over the top of the "hill" the timing is there for them.

Or..... is this just so a Frenchman wins this year.......

they have bike timing system at the KOM. there will be a debate on assigning the bonus times

It's lovely and sunny here. Didn't head to Tignes or the Iseran today becasue I couldn't be bothered to drive. Good job really.

And was so fast the sonic boom when encountering the dark matter of Valverde caused a landslide.

Imagine if they had somehow carried on and there was another landslide that took some of the riders out and off the road.

    Definitely the right decision.

There will be no winner for stage 19 and no most aggressive rider. For the overall classification, the times at col d'Iseran will apply.

Not sure why there should be no winner. It's pretty obvious who it was.

Basically means no winners bonus time.

Good question. The rules say "Points are finalised once the race organisations publishes their results."

So no official stage results, then no points...

The red car at the end is the announcer's car, hence this landslide happened less than 5 minutes ahead of the race.
