I think we've all come across *those* parents. Just normally outside the school gates rather than at the top level of international sport.veronese68 said:

I spend more time on Ventusky or Netweather.tv for an immediate forecast.pblakeney said:Does the MET Office have a shift change at 08:00? (Rhetorical).
I've noticed a trend for the forecast at 08:30 to be very different to that at 07:30.
It's annoying to have to use several sources, but my go-tos are Met Office graphic forecast (changes promptly on the hour every hour, but doesn't have any smoothing from human hand), Meteociel (has about five different unfiltered computer models to compare/contrast), and yes, Ventusky is good, as well as netweather.tv for rainfall radar.0 -

The % of 'Wanted' posts on the local Freecycle group. Not used to seeing many at all in my previous Ingerlish world. Wonder how many of them get a result. Or how many are scroungers who then sell on.0

Very interesting short broadcast on BBC Radio 4Extra by the explorer of caves and catacombs read from his book. They are 15 minute segments but enough to make me uncomfortable with the thought of claustrophobia!

It's quite fascinating.Sometimes. Maybe. Possibly.

Looks good, I’ll give it a try. It probably won’t help with my insomnia, though.photonic69 said:Very interesting short broadcast on BBC Radio 4Extra by the explorer of caves and catacombs read from his book. I’ve just finished this podcast series- Real Survival Stories, which has been pretty good.
