Judging from the race footage I see the fault entirely with the DQS rider (not sure it was Senechal who was the one throwing the punch) and not the Sunweb (Walscheid) rider. The DQS rider was looking the other way and got too close to Walscheid and started skidding and ran his front wheel into Walscheid's back wheel.PTP Champion 2019, 2022 & 20230

Senchal apologised straight away. Let me hit him on the helmet and then hold me back. Honour restored!0

Horrible crash for Hodeg today.Napoleon, don't be jealous that I've been chatting online with babes all day. Besides, we both know that I'm training to be a cage fighter.0

Any word on Hodeg? Looked pretty nasty the way he stayed down like that. Went off by stretcher in a neck brace I think.0

Deceuninck-Quick-Step confirmed Sunday that Alvaro Hodeg sustained multiple injuries during a crash in the final kilometer of Belgian one-day race Tour de l’Eurometropole.
Just two days after winning the Münsterland Giro, the 23-year-old sprinter was left with a left forearm fracture, right shoulder fracture, and two fractured ribs after crashing heavily as the peloton charged toward a sprint finish on Saturday
Although according to Twitter it was caused by the motor in his bike.Napoleon, don't be jealous that I've been chatting online with babes all day. Besides, we both know that I'm training to be a cage fighter.0 -
Small town Italy, Beghelli Gran Premio...
You just know any small town in the UK would prefer going to B&Q.
It’ll never change.0 -

That crash can't be too much of a surprise to anyone, given the way the legs of the barrier stick out onto the road. These particular barriers have been highlighted before as being dangerous but race organizers continue to use them. Riders safety doesn't appear to be a consideration these days.

Tre Valli Varesine: camera bike leads the group containing many of the top names a merry dance up the garden path instead of the race route. Primoz Roglic missed the big break but then won this lottery."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0

Oropa as in Pantani? Where Tom Dumoulin beat Quintana a couple of years ago?0

Already a big fan of Woods but sticking it to Valverde is just *chef's kiss.
Would really like to see him win Lombardia this weekend (is he even riding?)0 -
I enjoyed Binche - Chimay - Binche on Eurosport.
I always think Rob Hatch makes a race with the commentary and Belgian races look great in the rain.
Also nice to hear Matt Stevens say "Classy Bike Rider" 300 times and Oliver Naessen manage to not win.0 -
Bernal wins Gran Piemonte (Sosa second). Bernal first one day win (as a pro)?0

Another ride ruined by the fetish for new tech. How many is that this year, between disc brakes and electric shifting? And for what gain?0

Jelly Wallys takes his second Paris Tours.
Terpstra probably still cursing poor wheel change and did most to try to pull him back, deserved his second place ahead of Naesen.0 -
another great race to watch. complaints about the lottery effect of punctures/mechanicals on the off road bits seem a bit off to me. If a team wants to win they must prepare for issues on those sections. (and use rim brakes)0

I was watching on Euro sport player on my IPad however with 10K to go the stream with Rob Hatch and Brian Smith just finished. Did this happen to anyone else, had watch it on the stream with no commentary.0
