Said in the daily thread that I made veggie soup and some pasta sauce. Soup came about as I had some very limp celery and carrots wot got frozen in my back fridge.
Before anyone asks, the celery wasn’t even good for light flagellation. I know, I tried.
Pasta sauce is beef mince with lots of garlic and tomatoes and other bits to make my historic sort of Bolognese thing. A whole whopping pan for a few quid. Divvy the rest up tomorrow and freeze for about another four dinners.
Cheers from the tightwad cook.
sounds exactly the way a bolognese should be made - enjoy!Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

Excellent. It's a fave round here.
Ordered a lamb shwarma wrap.for tea, as Mrs h3 was out. She then arrived home early and ate most of my wrap. I'm eating a mince pie to stave off malnutrition.0 -

Deluxe Mince 'n' Tatties (mashed tatties) for me followed by an apple pie with a few raisins and some Nutmeg chucked in with puff pastry and custard. Last of our apples unfortunately.

mine was just sh1t and cold and I'm not too sure where it was from.
in fact, I'm not even too sure what kind of meat was in it, let alone what kind of curry it was.
i found it in the passenger footwell and thought it a shame to waste it as the last thing i had to eat was after late shift last night.
going to make up for it on Saturday night by taking TDV out and scoffing the utterly fantastic beef espetada from Edwyns bistro.Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

Couldn't you have warmed it up a bit on the engine? You being Special Forces trained and that....?0

Wrap it in tinfoil, stick it somewhere near the exhaust manifold and drive around the car park.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0

no because that would have involved me leaving the warm cocoon of the car itself and balancing a plate on a roaring, snorting, snarling Honda Accord engine that I believe has a plastic cover on.
but good call anyway.Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

That's bollox innit? Sheer bollox. You could rip the plastic cover off with your teeth in no time.

This is a most concerning observation. In fact it isn't concerning at all, it's quite frankly inexplicable.
I never contradict myself like him.
I think he's so taken aback at the loss of Nina in her lab coats, he's lost it, maybe temporarily, maybe permanently.
You would think that it would slide around the plate a bit. Especially in Wales. There are no straight roads in Wales. Unless of course it was curried goat from Edwyn's top spicy take away. I hear that it is especially sticky.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
Do we know for a fact he is in Wales. Wasn't he hiding in someone's garage recently?
Spreading disinformation might be part of his training.0
