    GC:
    1) Thomas
    2) Dumoulin @ 2'-05"
    3) Roglic @ 2'-24"

What price Roglic to mug Dumoulin for second place, tomorrow?

Good on Roglic, Good on Lotto NL. Fully deserved for both!

Shows what can happen when you take the race to Sky a bit.

Latour ships 3 minutes to Bernal, but should be fine for white.

You can't pretend it doesn't drop your CoG.

    Sit on your bike

Put your hands on the drops

Without moving your shoulders (relative to bike/floor) move your hands onto the drops.

Elbows bent, loads of "flex" for suspension. hands hooked in behind lever tops

    Sorted.

Trouble is roadies forget they have elbows...

Stop arguing, everybody with any cycling experience knows to corner in the drops because of how it changes your C of G, everything becomes much easier. Only inexperienced people would try to corner hard staying in the hoods, or those that haven't sussed how to corner faster yet.

You should send a press release to the pro tour, they are all doing it wrong (apart from Zakarin).

But how do you get enough force on the brakes in case you need to stop quickly because a car's done something silly or there is a cow in the road, and how do get your weight back so that you can balance and shift your weight?

Meh... part of racing... and you're overstating it! Nice win for Roglic and Jumbo (and PTP points for me!)

Chris Froome can still win this if he holds the handlebars with his teeth tomorrow.

How does Chris's TT compare to Dumolin and Roglic? Can he get himself back on the podium?
  • The striking thing about Thomas is how comfortable he has looked at all times. Going back a few years, he never looked like a 3 week GT contendor to me. Incredible.

I don't blame the riders, and I don't really blame the Moto riders, especially on a descent like that. But organisers need to do something to stop it.
