the slice isn't that fast either... not a trek or a canyon. scotts rig is quick, and the skinsuit for the leader is the superfast castelli one. think TD will still win...

Discs on a TT bike are just wrong - extra cost for extra weight and a less aero bike.

Yeah, I just think blaming their performance on having disc brakes is a bit of a stretch!

Shows what the team thinks of their chances in the TT.

Not gonna be noticed at the sharp end so why not?
  • As I will be missing tomorrow can I post my obligatory Aru TT'ing picture...

    Chad Haga now 4th overall.

    Weather update from CN ticker:

Despite earlier predictions of a headwind, the weather is expected to give the riders a touch of a tailwind. The rain that was predicted has also failed to stay throughout the afternoon. The roads are bone dry now. Though, we could still get some before the finish.

For those of us watching in text, is there anything close to a live timer with splits?
Official site is useless, hey should have gone with Tissot for their timing.

I imagine that puts him pretty close to blowing up really, really badly.

You can download the tour tracker app, £6 for the year gives you all the live splits plus commentary of all the big tours plus some smaller races.

How is it that race organisers still haven't got this sorted on their own websites? It's only 20 chuffing 18.

Are all the Italians getting a convoy to draft?
    Ulissi certainly did.
So, now Aru can't climb but can time trial. :?

Can’t climb or won’t climb these last few days? If the latter, he’s effectively been resting.

I do hope Rohan Dennis has a mechanical, not that I have an issue with him, just to widdle on Carlton's fire.

Has there been a stage where Carlton hasn't tipped him for the win?
