I need to paint my hall I can't choose between burnt stone , almost oyster or Egyptian silk. I asked the guy in B and Q who suggested nutmeg , what a goon. I stared open mouthed at him. Can he not see I want a sepia tone ? And before you suggest dripping bleach into my eyes , not window paining acid as this would have too dramatic effect , stop and think , have I just part wasted your time ?
Anyway back to the paint , silk or Matt , and what colour ?
    Thanks in advance.

    Silk.

The colour you want is Dulux Moroccan Gold 046:

Yeah. Then your house can look like you've vomited carrot soup all over it.

Black a la Adrian Mole. Now that's what you want.

    rather have Lebanese Red.

The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.

actually i have to object to another glaring spelling mistake in the posts above. Heaven knows , I am not normally a pedant, but the term is WAISTER, not waster.
A WAISTER is a seaman who is not qualified to go up the high rigging with the TOP MEN.

"The largest division of a ship's company, and the most ignoble, was that of the waisters, the men stationed in the waist, the men " without art or judgment," who hauled aft the fore and main sheets, and kept the decks white." John Masefield, Sea Life in Nelson's Time, 1905 (p. 129).

If nobody posted on here because bullies like you tried to shut everyone up then you'd have nobody to slag off.

Maybe those bullies have point. Give it a cut, honestly

Unfortunately he does have a point - too many people either shouting down, getting aggressive or calling troll when people post opinions they don't agree with.

No question is a stupid question - the only stupid things are the people who call stupid.

    Let me have a go:

    Why are wheels round?
Is Mickey Mouse a cat or a dog?
Why cant they make giant hamster wheels for dogs?
Why are women banned from Formula One?

I do believe that answering serious questions that come across as stupid will make someone that slightly bit less stupid. Plus the freedom of speech applies to people of all levels of IQ.
