A few of those at the back clearly didn't fancy that descent. The "peloton" must be spread out over a mile or so.0

Sky leading now. Nibali and Bardet behind?
Nibali in front again?
Yeah and then Eurosport went on a break...
They are going at such a rate now there's not been any pictures of the front of the peloton on the non-Kirby channel while they've been on the ad break. Keeping the moto out of the way I guess.0 -

There he is. No chance of seeing anything else meaningful though.0 -
yep... he's there on the front...

My Norton had a field day with that feed! I'm sticking with Danish.0 -
The Danish commentary is so calm. It's almost as it there is nothing of major importance going on and they are settled in for the long haul rather than getting all screechy and shouty about an attack every time a rider stands up to stretch their legs.0

The Flemish get this too.
But then their national pasttime apart from cycling is getting over-excited about tractors, so perhaps less surprising.0 -

Majka has been dropped. Bora dropping back to try to get him up to the GC group. Lot of people picked him for PTP....0

Yes they did :xIt's only a bit of sport, Mun. Relax and enjoy the racing.0 -
One of the Yates and Chaves attack with 6.5km of the penultimate climb to go.0
-
Not gaining much though, climb doesn't have much of a gradient (at least on screen anyway).0
-
Orica duo attack to Daft Punk's Get Lucky...0
-
De La Cruz and a Movistar rider looking to join them. It doesn't look threatening though.0
-
Two more have managed to bridge.0
-
An Astana rider has also got across but they still only have a handful of seconds.0
-
Sky still have 6 riders with Froome so don't think they're going that hard yet0
-
The original break still has around 1.37, the Chaves group is growing bit by bit but only about 6 seconds lead over a peloton led by pretty much a fully intact Sky team.0
-
Gap closed to a couple of seconds with no urgency. Orica are pretty much a spent force in this race.0
-
The lead group start attacking and reduced to 4. Alaphillipe, Moreno, De Marchi and one other.0
-
I've given up trying to follow what's happening. There's two Orica just off the front of the red jersey group but I don't think Chaves is one of them now.0
-
Denifl is the other rider in the 4 leaders.0
-
Oricas are Haig and Nielsen who was in the original break.0
-
Tight, steep hairpins at the bottom of this descent...0
-
The lead group are about 1k from the final climb.0
-
Here we go!0
