It'll be interesting to see the climb times versus 2012 and 2014.

What was Aru's TT time like, anyone?

    Similar to Porte and Quintana

    Aru +14

Great ride from Aru - he was wrestling the bike up there.
  • Fenton is not at the top of his game

Sure, he took yellow but he's vulnerable

He looks better than he did at the Dauphine though, so is he just coming into form at exactly the right time?

    Chapeau Aru and Froome.

The 'how many skymen are in front of froome @/3km to go?' rule is worth a check. By my reckoning he was at 4 men in the train.

Make of that what you will.

It's all relative. I think he's looking vulnerable, a couple of % off his very best

I doubt he has much form, but this kind of stage was never his thing. Same as the one Sagan one.

I can't see Martin keeping that 4th place on the longer, higher stuff.

Coiled spring Aru there, clearly feeling great to attack like that.

Great to not see Contador, it will be nice to get used to.

Quintana obviously missing that valued assistance he would have got from Valverde.

Sean Kelly's tipping him for the podium in Paris.

I'm not convinced, but it'll be interesting to see.

I guess the Fuglsang/Aru question is pretty much settled now.

Sure, let's go with that. I might possibly have mentioned another Astana rider, but it is the thought that counts.

Not sure we can make much use of that when it's a short climb with all the damage done right at the end, and when BMC have done all the work on the flat.

Porte's mind writing cheques his body can't cash.
