  • hopefully not a Bouha-ha-ha-nni day

God have pity on anyone who decided to pick today as their day to watch an entire stage to see what all the fuss is about

A spectator on an E-bike has just overtaken Van Keirsbulck while popping a wheelie. While Van Keirsbulck is having a conversation with the team car next to him, must be lonely out front on your own for so long.

Eau contrary. Today is what it's all about. Plenty of pics of animals, castles, fields, tractors etc.

On days like today the commentators should just read out short stories local to the area.

I've got Chris Anker Sørensen regaling me with Schleck bros anecdotes. It's all good.

Not if you're a total noob to cycling looking for some actual, ya know, sport

As opposed to a 5 hour French Countryfile

Van Keirsbulck has just under 100 miles to go.

Yeah, but if they're that new to it they're probably marvelling at the lone rider's bravery (rather than laughing at how the peloton shafted him) and getting excited about the enormous time gap he has :-D

I think I might pass the time by commentating on what I will call the Lanterne Rouge Cam Feed to the cats.

He's just toying with the peloton. If he was after real time he'd stop for a Dumoulin and read the paper.

    Sagan is having a wee.

He's just giving everyone a sporting headstart before he opens up a one legged can of whoop ass in the last 200 metres.

No doubt enjoying standing up now he's out of the house. You just know he's made to sit down at home.

I don't mind days like this during the week - ITV4 stream on silent on the other monitor while I work. Lots of nice countryside and occasional shot of some nice bikes.

The amount of adverts on ITV is getting ridiculous.

    More advert time than coverage.

Sagan is giving you all a thumbs up right now. I'm not sure if it means he has to sit on the loo when at home.

Quickstep car gives Sagan a tow back into the peloton if he promises to give Kittel a chance.

I can't remember if I've said this before, but that elephant is making a very good argument for a limited reintroduction of the ivory trade.

As for his owner, I reckon any reasonable jury would struggle to convict.

tbf they try and front load the ads so they have more control of them at vital race points. personally i would take longer adverts now than regular cut aways in last 20km. Also still better than nowt! the womens giro is on atm and there is 0 coverage other than a 5 min highlight package on UCI youtube channel!

I've just failed a thesis. To be fair this one was always heading that way.
