From the PN site:
The first two parts of the peloton just merged to form a pack of 36 riders. Alberto Contador, Dan Martin and Philippe Gilbert are part of a group lying 35 seconds adrift. Richie Porte is further back.0 -
BMC caught napping two days on the bounce. Tut tut.Napoleon, don't be jealous that I've been chatting online with babes all day. Besides, we both know that I'm training to be a cage fighter.0

Not sure who is favourite for GC now. Definitely a good thing.0

Left in front group as far as I can gather0 -
Forces Bert and co to go on the rampage later in the race
Alaphilippe quite capable of winning this, mind0 -

Edit: Porte seems well out of it now0 -
Front group. Lead by 50s
Degenkolb, Kristoff, Gallopin, Alaphilippe, Kittel, Roosen, Wynants, Demare, Konovalovas, Molard, Sarreau, Lutsenko, Laporte, Swift, Bennett, Smukulis, Zakarin, Wagner, Henao, Knees, Rowe, Senechal, Soupe and Hardy
Well done to Luke Rowe for getting Henao up there again. Guiding a flyweight Colombian through crosswinds is the cycling equivalent of herding cats.Twitter: @RichN950 -
Best start to P-N for a good while0

awesome team Sky here protecting Henao , big thumbs up to Rowe and Knees
Km 70 - 24 riders: Degenkolb, Kristoff, Gallopin, Alaphilippe, Kittel, Roosen, Wynants, Demare, Konovalovas, Molard, Sarreau, Lutsenko, Laporte, Swift, Bennett, Smukulis, Zakarin, Wagner, Henao, Knees, Rowe, Senechal, Soupe and Hardy lead a second groupe including Contador and Dan Martin by 50 seconds.
Richie Porte (BMC) features in a group lying 2:40 behind the current leaders.0 -

Sensational by Rowe to do that 2 days on the trot.0 -
the problem for Henao (like Quintana after 2 windy stages in TdF) could be fatigue, he is not the type of rider to ride full gas, for hours, in the (very reduced no shelter) front group
he may be empty when MTF comes0 -
Apparently the front group is down to 13, Degenkolb, Kristoff, Bystrom, Gallopin, Alaphilippe, Kittel, Demare, Laporte, Swift, Bennett, Zakarin, Henao, Rowe.
Bennett having a good ride?
Brilliant work from Sky, Quick Step have done well again too.0 -

Cheers.
I have a rather narrow lens through which I watch a lot of this; namely, how are the classics guys doing, and who of the Poggio potential protagonists (PPP) are doing well.0 -

Shame Geraint passed on this this year - these conditions would have suited a rider who can't make up his mind between stage racing and classics (as long as he didn't fall off).0

lets focus on the jiffy bag ok?0 -
Live tracking all over the place (like the riders), now 20 in front group;
Composition of the leading group: Degenkolb, Zakarin, Kristoff, Bystrom, Alaphilippe, Kittel, Roosen, Wynants, Henao, Rowe, Demare, Cimolai, Konovalovas, Sarreau, Laporte, Senechal, Soupe, Swift, Bennett and Siskevicius.
The Contador/Gilbert group, which lost Dan Martin, lies 1:10 adrift0 -
Dunno if this has been mentioned but tracker saying main group lost Dan Martin
ok so it has been mentioned :-)0 -
