Het Volk on Eurosport? Happy days. I've got a Saturday off from hockey and there's a place near me that's started stocking niche Belgian beer.

That would probably be your cupboard.

Have to give Cartoon Kirby a special mention.
Today's finish being in Seville, he began waffling about marmalade and in particular, toasted marmalade.
Described it's taste as al dente.
    Yes, he really did.

Would toasted marmalade not be more akin to an inverted poptart?

    Het Volk

    Wibble
Napoleon, don't be jealous that I've been chatting online with babes all day. Besides, we both know that I'm training to be a cage fighter.

His lead in was describing the colour of a tall building as being allowed to go rusty to represent the marmalade colour. Forget toast - Carlton was straight for the waffle as per.

As well as the shrieking, its the 'Si Clarke' that reminded me that Kirby season is upon us....

Clarke's come very close to winning MSR.

    2010 - 32
    2011 - 66
    2014 - 100
    2015 - 97
    2016 - DNF

Carlton has a lot of love for 'Si'. To the extent he sees him as a realistic contender for Milan-San Remo.

EDIT - Joel beat me to it, with stats and everything.

That film starts in Siena, like Strade Bianche. Coincidence?

Well if you want a guess - Hatch and Kelly for Paris-Nice and Kirby/Stephens for Tirreno. They often end up doing the same races and that was the pairings last year.

In 2014 and 2015, it was Hatch/Kelly at P-N and Quigley did Tirreno with Stephens but Kirby has since ceased to work on the RCS-owned races for the host broadcaster.
