Day off today. Veg shopping, went to nearby pub for a takeout. Then went to local for a beer and some baked Camembert. Mmm, garlicky. Now home, Christmas tree up, bra off and takeout ale being slurped. Later some red wine and rum, I think.Ecrasez l’infame0

Are there any other types of funeral?
Been to a few where people had gone before their time, but still holds true, I suppose.
Apologies if this is raw, or otherwise. Just the way I see it.Ecrasez l’infame0 -
I've been to 4 in the last 2 years. My mother's, my father's, my OH's father and a good friend of mine.
It makes me think that my funeral expenses will include a party fund and a mandatory clause: Chris Barber played very loud.

Awful time of the the year for this to happen (is there a good time?), but peace and love to you all. It must be a difficult time.Ecrasez l’infame0 -
I didn't take any offence to your comment BBG nor did I see it as flippant.

Whilst I was in a pub it looks like it was all kicking off in the kicking off thread.
I'd rather go to the pub.0 -
