I just thought,I'd start a thread for those who had just got back from the pub.

Often a dose of the juice gives a clarity of thought that when sober would not appear.

Then, when sober you think "Did I really post that"

Well, yes you did. That is how you really think/feel.

We're all a bunch of "cyber-wankers" anyway...............Fill ya boots folks!

That would be an ecumenical matter.

Don't know about the internet, but they still have wasps flying about at this time of year. I haven't seen one for about three months up here.

Was in the pub by 7. Do I really have to be in the office by 7:30? That's only half an hour in the pub.

There was a dreadful smell in our bedroom this morning. I didn't mention it as I didn't want to embarrass my good lady, Lord knows what she'd eaten. Mild hangover this morning, unfortunately had to drive in as I've got a BMX frame made of boat anchors I had to carry in.

Turns out it wasn't her, can't have been me. According to the daily thread it looks like Oxoman broke in at some point, not sure how he knew it smelt like that otherwise.

  • I need the pub. Works van is looking at a 3k repair job as someone "forgot" to get the bloody thing serviced so the fleet warrantly is invalid.

Cat might need his paw amputating, thats all I sodding need.

I'm having a beer when I get home!

We had a 3 legged cat. He was called Tiddles. He was a star. He managed to father a couple of sets of kittens and we always joked that he didn't even need to swing his leg over.
One day we found a ring of flattened grass and a heck of a lot of black and white fur deposited around the area. It was then we decided he really needed the snip because fighting when you only have 3 legs was a bit of a handicap. Tiddles was in a shocking state.

£3k van repair?! F*ck me - bring it up here, it'll be far cheaper.

What does it need? If servicing wouldn't have prevented the problem you may be able to argue the case.
I'm off to the pub momentarily.
