Click on the ‘U’. It removes all non military traffic. As I’ve said, you’re only seeing the stuff that has a transponder on. You’re not seeing what they’re fuelling. Any of the RAF or USAF RC-135 types are working out what’s going on inside Ukraine and quite probably coordinating on the ground with anything NATO. The ones with the call sign ‘NATO’ are monitoring and coordinating airspace.

The really interesting stuff appears at night.

UK govt has stopped granting visas in Ukraine and won’t open up refugee routes.

Half minded to turn up and tell Patel herself, the f@cking cow.

Certainly if the labour lot keep this up they need to be deselected from the party.

Starmer should do it now. Leopards and spots.
Read an interesting observation on this.

Short version- he can't do anything more about it at this time. If the chief whip orders you to do something or lose the whip, and you do as you're told, then any further action taken only undermines the role of the chief whip.

    Made sense to me anyway

    There'll be other opportunities

Edit....It would be helpful if you stopped encouraging them 😉

Generous offer from the Home Office.

If you came here to drive a HGV or process poultry when we were short handed, you don't have to go back to a war zone

Would be genuinely interested if anyone on here would object to taking war refugees from the Ukraine in?

There seems to be a mix of opinions on here so would give a sense of opinion of the public.
  • Personally, as us and our European allies are doing so little I feel it is our duty to open our borders for those fleeing the Ukraine.

I mean, it’s irrelevant as it’s an intentional legal obligation.

But then this govt doesn’t care for that do they?

The general public will accept refugees based upon how like them they are so white, English speaking Christians from ex-colonies are most acceptable.

Ukrainians don’t tick enough boxes so they will be encouraged to stay in the countries they cross before they get here as they will be happiest there.
  • I would have expected sportswashing to be counter productive as it would make you a high profile target for sanctions. Unsurprisingly Abramovich seems to be better informed than me.

Can somebody explain this to me?

Always thought he took ownership as a type of insurance and protection- being high profile makes it more costly to assassinate you.

Also it gave him high profile assets outside of Putin’s reach, just in case he ever fell out of favour.

I read this morning (think it was an article by the Independent) that Italy successfully lobbied the EU to not include high end fashion goods in the sanctions imposed. Quite unbelievable.

even less believable is that the uk has only just banned dual-use exports, that's after multiple assassinations on uk soil, crimea etc.

don't believe the uk has banned exports of fashion goods to russia though, seems we're with italy on this one

Any idea why the French didn't just impound the ship whilst it was in the port?

Not sure if I'm reading that right as I seem to be seeing it differently to you. Aren't they just saying if you're here already we're going to let you stay longer? I don't think it is anything about who they are prepared to allow in going forward.

Haven't all their potential play off opponents said they won't play them?

I wouldn’t expect FIFA to back the right horse when it comes down to refusal to play.

Yeah, I can quite imagine FIFA trying to punish those teams for refusing to play.

They’re announcing this because they’re not announcing what they should be, which is visa waivers for all Ukrainians and routes to help refugees.

Are they or are you just making assumptions?
