I'm personally waiting for an artistic shot of Tim Martin's posh metal gates.

Does the addition of my bike make it 'artistic'? '🤔

That would be 3 bed detached in some parts of Devon (looking at Salcombe)

The house may well be posh but those gates are nothing special.
Better than mine, but I've seen a *lot* better.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

It’s probably only his camping barn or shooting lodge.

Nothing special, just quite nice to see something individual, and I quite like the stainless steel.

Not an enormous house (think it's something like 5 bedrooms). Topsham is a bit silly on prices, but it's not as nuts as Salcombe.

I'd pictured something like this for privacy.
There are a lot fancier versions in open design. Harlech House as an example.

I am currently wondering what the Mini driver is going to do with his pot of gold. 😉

    Nice.

I get very mixed results with rainbows. All too often they lose their luminosity & depth of colour in my photos.

An ND grad filter helps. Preferably in the field but post processing if necessary, like this version.

A little background. We were driving along and I noticed the strong cloud line on the hills and thought that were interesting enough for a photo opportunity. Then the rainbow commenced.
I missed the ultra bright part, it was one of the brightest that I have ever seen. This is the fading part.

It's the kind of weather when Dartmoor is a good place to go rainbow hunting. Dartmoor is actually a bit boring photographically if the skies are all blue, even if the novelty itself is nice.

Couldn't decide whether to go for the pet thread or this one. Rare quiet moment!

That’s a lotta candlesticks. How do they survive a wagging tail? 😀

The candles get blown out, obviously. 😉

The candles had to be replaced with battery ones. The only real real ones are now on top of the mantlepiece out of his reach!

Quite pleased with the symmetry of this quick snap at Budleigh Salterton. And getting the sea dead level.

German Shepherd (or now we've left the EU maybe I should use Alsatian again!).

Ah, no, sorry. I was thinking about the lighter coloured one beneath?

Ah, that one's a Clothastuff. It's a cross between cloth and stuffing, they're really fashionable at the moment
