    Rewatching that, I do think the derny is leaving it too late again. BUT, the rules are there. Late or not, you just gotta hold back till he's gone.

    Right, three things to do here. First, disqualify the German for conspicuous stupidity. Second, take that chuffing gun off whoever is holding it for the good of everyone. Thirdly, tell the bloke on the derny to ignore the speedo and just floor it so that nobody can possibly hold a wheel, let alone come over the top...

    Anyone else never fail to be amazed by cycling's capacity for high farce?

    Apparently the pursuit line is the demarcation for being off the track. I reckon he dropped below that first time. It's ridiculous as no-one really gains an advantage.
