Think Kenny was just behind there when they overlapped.

Think it was the Malaysian first and he lightened up the sprint for everyone.

Can they DQ both or just the first to overlap?

    Laura is not impressed!

    Don't mess with the Trott.

  • Kenny is gone, I reckon.

Boardman raises a fair point. Bike did leave it a bit late there, the riders know the point on the track to open up the sprint.

I think the comms have a hard shout here.

The overlap changed with each pedal stroke. Tense.

That was the derny rider's fault. He started pulling off then stayed on for an age!

Kenny definitely over white line first, but was the overlap earlier?

With the derny leaving the track late and it being so close you'd think they would just re-run the race.

Just restart, please... can they do that? It's so fine... hmmm.

They'll never get an angle that gives a true picture. The sensible thing if they can't tell is to leave both riders in and start again.

I think a straight restart is best here.

Good job Dyer is on the case too.

Should just restart the race here if it's not really clear if the Derny was or wasn't off the track properly. It did look like Kenny hit the line first by less than a tyre.

For me Awang overlapped the derny first, but Kenny crossed the half lap line first.

Surely the best thing for the sport is to leave it?

Common sense prevails. There's been a lot of that in cycling recently!

All that for nothing. Shouldn't have stopped it in the first place.
