I will be absolutely sick if Nibali takes this tomorrow (not because of suspicion, just because I really dislike him).
It's only a bit of sport, Mun. Relax and enjoy the racing.

Nibali will crush them all tomorrow, or die/cry trying.
A harder stage with more technical descents.

When Nibali's derailleur fell off in the TT I didn't think he wasn't going to be in contention anyway. Now could be the deciding factor.

Turned into a good race now. It's a shame Kruiswijk couldn't limit the losses a bit more, just hoping Chaves can hold on now as I'm another who really doesn't want a Nibali win.

it is gutting how..what...5 seconds of in-attention can lose you a 3 week race

Why all the hate for my man Nibali?

It's hardly suspicious that he is riding at a good level versus a 22 year old and a Dutchman in the 3rd week of a GT.

Shame if the race comes down to a broken derailleur in a time trial. Staying upright is a skill, but a mechanical in a crucial TT is very unfortunate.

We have seen these things before... they are undoubtly entertaining and make for good racing, but hard to explain how a man that 2 days ago couldn't keep up now is dropping everybody

    What a stage.

Hoping Chaves can hold on for two reasons, a really likeable young guy - from the backstage pass videos and because I lumped on him back in February at 40-1 to win, tenner to win and 5 e/w.

As I said earlier, Nibali was very cocky on the Gazzetta, as if he knew something we didn't, as I thought he had very little to be so confident about... clearly I was wrong

To be fair he'd lost well over a minute to Kruijswijk before his derailleur went, so it's not like he'd necessarily be in pink if that hadn't happened.

    Esteban on Nibali and Kruijswijk:

"Their team {Loto-Jumbo] showed today they would fight for the maglia rosa, but unfortunately he crashed. Sorry, mate. I was behind Nibali and he descends very fast."

Grrrr, I'm in very bad mood. Stay on your bike was the device, and you will win the Giro. It isn't just the fall, the team isn't strong enough. Nibali, Chavez, Maijka, Valverde, all had help of team mates on the flat between the climb. Lotto Jumbo has Gesink, Kelderman and Kruijswijk for a result in a GT but only helpers for the flats. Tom Dumoulin and Giant, same story.
