    Morning Losers!

I'm up early (even though my body doesn't want me to!) to take my motorbike in for a bit of a fix up and its MOT. I think this is going to cost me a lot of money, which sucks when it's so close to Christmas :(

Sods law it's decided to rain today too. Great.

    Evening c0ck fags,

Barn roof again today and the drains bloke pitched up with his digger so there are trenches everywhere he also pulled up the roots of a couple of trees that i hacked down, result.

In other news we have guests staying in our Gite, they are coming for a wee drink later, hopefully I don't get smashed and abusive!

What is it with me and automobiles!? So according to the garage, pretty much everything that can wear out HAS worn out. The train drive, the rear tyre, the fork seals and the exhaust gasket. To do all that, fix the indicators and put on a new centre-stand spring, he said it'll be "minimum of £500, shouldn't be more than £600". Expletives were said off the phone.

Problem with motorbikes is that you can't just go to another garage and ask for their opinion, well you can, but they might be miles and miles away.

Ah well, Merry f*****g Christmas everyone!

Uplift rebooked for late Jan. Will have to make do with Communting for my bike fix for now. Just searching t'interweb for flights to the US for next summer - seems like a long way off just now.

    Cider induced double post? :)

Jobs to do, none of them too bad apart from writing bloody Christmas cards. Had egg based brekkie, now washing down with coffee.

I would have done, except it all revolved around the centre stand spring missing, so I couldn't mount the bike up to do any other works (at least that's the excuse I'm going with)

    Monday

    Mehning Losers!

Back to work. I'm having to drive in so about to set off. I get to leave early though to collect the bike from the garage. I've investigated finances, and luckily it won't cripple me, but it does mean any saving I've managed to achieve has gone out of the window. Ah well.

This evening I'm playing in a concert. Should go toward the bike fund.

Isn't the spring only to hold the stand up when not in use? Weight of the bike holds it in place when on the stand. Centre stands are for wimps anyway, unnecessary weight and are the first thing to hit the ground when cornering hard (or falling off in my case).

    Happy Monday clagnuts,
Managed to wobble in to work this morning, driving was tempting though. If I had a motorbike in one piece that would have been the choice. Really should finish my bike, just need lots of time and quite a lot of cash. good weekend was had, now recovering. Customers are not too irritating yet, but it's still early. Spoke too soon, just got interrupted by one.

Today I have been mostly pondering how to achieve 773 miles over the next 20 days to achieve 12K miles for the year whilst simultaneously slaving like a brave soldier for the NHS over the Freak Season.

Sleep might have to be optional

Bit like me only without any driving involved.

Looong day, but over now and improved by some plonk and watching a spot of Blackadder. Tomorrow may be better.

I wasn't actually sure if it would stand up or not, so decided to not risk dropping it (again). Turns out that you can get the spring for the centre stand, but not the cylinder that goes around the spring. As a result, the spring would probably fly off at the first bump or corner, so they've removed the centre stand completely :( My bike is home now though, and it's sounding cool as fark

    Morning Losers!

Got the bike back, so will be commuting again on that. I read an article the other week saying that humans shower too often, and that you should only do it once or twice a week at most (unless taking part in physical activities). I've decided to give this a go, as my skin is always eczema ridden. It's actually working. I feel weird though.

Twice a week? There's a guy at work that showers twice a day as he rides a kids bike from the station. Mind you he is a bit ginger so maybe he's trying to wash it off.
Also had a shoot sleep. Wife kept me awake as she couldn't get comfortable due to a bad shoulder, for some reason she wasn't keen on my solution to help get back to sleep. Then the devil child next door started wailing from 5am. The harridan didn't scream back this time because they have someone staying over, just left the kid bawling for a couple of hours. I might have a kip under my desk at some point.

    FTFY.

I've been very unz-French and just showered. Long, long day at work, brightened up when a headhunter called me with an interesting opportunity in the City. I am following up on this tomorrow :)
