    Yeah Friday

After commuting for nearly 4hrs yesterday I'm working from home today. Will give me chance to check what time the lazy bathroom fitter turns up!

    Later is family pub night

    Happy damned fryday peegs,
A liitle bleary eyed and in the office this morning. Drove in due to being a complete wuss, bladder took a bit of a hammering as it was in the Mini. Must remember to pee before driving that thing. Today being Fryday lunch will of course be in the cafe. Sloping off at 4.30 to join the Mrs in a pub to start the weekend as it should carry on.
    Have a good one...

Evening Pig Pokers and Pig Breeders,

Been a long day for a Friday. But managed to drink enough cider tonight that it didn't matter. Shit loads to do tomorrow but I'm not thinking about that just now!

    saturday

One of the eldests rugrats present was a driving lesson at Bentley motors (but in a ferkin skoda). So we are off there in a minute, though I'm cycling there. Three weeks off the bike and a 70+ mile ride on a single speed sounds erm fun

Later is doing lumber jack stuff and then upsettingly getting a delivery of wood as mine isn't seasoned yet :(

Later still I assume will be the pub

Morning young uns and Stevo and V68,

Slow start this morning, animals, breakfast, wife turning central, heating to twenty degrees and then going back to bed! So I've turned it down and am off out to finish constructing my compost heap.
Later is the village xmas dinner so hoping there is booze a plenty.

    Toodles.

  • Morning Losers!

bg, it sounds like you've landed the best retirement prize ever! A farm, village dinners, building and doing things whenever you want? The only downside is the Frenchness of it.

Today, I've just got back from a run. I've not been for a couple of weeks, and it shows as it hurts. Plans today are to sort out my motorbike repairs and book it into its MOT next week, sort my life out a bit and the house, and then this afternoon I'm off to my dog-walking friends house to help put up the Christmas tree and decorations.

    Morning fools,

Boozy afternoon with the village folk yesterday means this crudder is less than the usual 50% today, my lucky bottom feeder let me lie in while she sorted the animals so I'm up to get some breakfast on.
Later i will also be getting wood!

In the office today, it's been a long week already and I've got to be in every day now. Very dull. I managed to wobble in to work having forgotten how to ride a bike. No decent excuse just manflu, laziness and not having to go out.

I've got the week off work! Woooo!

I've got shoot loads to do, but I have no desire to start it at the moment. I need to organise my motorbike being serviced and MOT'd this week, put up the decorations, wrap hundreds of presents, tidy up, sort out finances, and go off to meetings around the place. Fun.

Better have another cup of tea then.

    Evening dipsh1ts,

Been a busy boy today, re-doing one of the barn roofs, tiles off, woodwork sorted, membrane down and tiles back on. One third done so far. Weather has been good and quite warm so getting stuck in.
Half day tomorrow though as off to a local restaurant.

I'm going to remind myself what this riding malarkey is like tomorrow. Could do with a bit of exercise now the Christmas drinking season is starting. Work is annoying me, there's fat too much to do!

    Morning potato counters,

Another pleasant day here for some roofing, meal out this afternoon which will be great from a culinary point of view but ropey from the 'company' point of view!

Another foggy day in da Hudd today. It never really shifted yesterday, and last night, whilst driving over the A62, visibility was down to maybe 2 metres, which was exciting!

Today, I'm having a day of relaxing. I'm contemplating not getting dressed. I'll whack on a movie, doing some wrapping, making a nice Jalfrezi for tea and just generally, relax.

I think that was too much information there.
We must all be too relaxed, the old shirker from foreign climes got in first. Another day in the office for me, it's been a long week. I've decided I can't cope with 5 days in the office so I've booked Thursday off, same next week. A mildly foggy ride to work was actually quite pleasant. Out for beer and curry tonight, might be a bit of a struggle tomorrow.

Last nights painting of the bath was done with reasonable speed and therefore whilst we waiting for the eldest to finish youth club the local was visited

Today was a long commute north, despite not being too many mile but it means I can visit the grandparents so all good

Later is the final coat of the bath

Too much work and too much dealing with ageing parentals and social services doesn't make for a very good day. At least a decent pedal was had and the plonk was cold when I got home this evening.

Didn't whack off to a movie, but did manage to watch Django Unchained and Arthur Christmas, and did a shoot load of wrapping! More to do today.

I really should go for a walk or something as being inside all day makes me a bit down I think. Bloody windy outside though.

Wahey, saved by the fire alarm at 5.45. Had to evacuate the building and no point hanging around as they had no idea when we would be let back in. So early doors, just a pity I couldn't sort a sneaky pint on the way home as Im driving a bit later on.
