Our dog gets very excited when we look like we’re getting ready to go out, because she knows it means a bribe snack to keep her busy while we leave and she can goof off asleep in the sun. Got to the point she doesn’t even get out of bed when we come home these days... :D

Alright for some. Junior hound definitely does not like being left alone and can't be trusted without someone around to stop him getting up to stuff/destroying things Hope he grows up quickly!

It's just a phase...although the idea of Astroturf for the lawn seems pretty enticing just now. Senior hound also wishes junior would grow up fast.

Try to avoid using the garden as initially it upsets me, but now probably the ferkin moles too :(

Luckily the woods start at the back door

Surprisingly perhaps but ours rarely even sh!ts in the gardens round the house, saves that up for the morning walks on the beach. That's good because it means no surprises walking round the yard, but bad because it means the plastic bag pickup routine on the walks. Since she's quite big at around 34 kg, and is very spoilt with high quality food the poo piles can be pretty frightening... :o

No way I'd ever have a puppy these days though. Cute but...

We haven't got much choice as the back garden is walled/fenced off so the only alternative is to get the shoes on, put leads on the hounds etc and head out the front door. Which is a right faff given how often a puppy takes a leak.

Ours are fair bit smaller. Luckily the puppy thing is only a timing difference and it has at least now learnt that the garden, not the lounge carpet, is the bog.

We don’t bother with ‘hand warmers’ if it’s on the path it’s a case of get a stick and flick it

I suppose I could get a stick and flick ours into the neighbours gardens :)

    Afternoon Skivers,

I've bunked off early to transport Stropteen to the station. I suppose as it's her 18 birthday dinner up in town with her mates she might have a drink or two, so can't really be expected to drive herself...the only downside is that I'll have to go get her later so I won't be able to have a drink until she's back :(

    Evening youngsters,

Had a day of loafing with some minor blah which included replacing the battery in the wife's phone, only lost one screw and it's not working but it has a new battery so my job is done!

Rugby and a birthday party to enjoy tomorrow.

    Evening belwhackers,

Just back from an eightieth birthday party, quite surprised to find out that it wasn't for V68! Anyhoo, had lots of foods and boozes so all happy here.
Cobblers blew it again in the last few minutes so they need their fingers out and a new manager might help!

It's good that your kids still invite you to their parties bg.

Having a good go at a spot of relaxation, which Stressbag is doing her best to thwart! May have to go hide in a corner.

    Evening spunkyguzzlers,

Minor hangover this morning after V68's party yesterday. Done some loafing, watched some sport, had a go at tidying the barn but gave up and am now waiting for foods!

Good evening, fans of doing it yourself.

Blinkin’ ‘eck, the weather is a bit rough this week. We have had almost continuous rain since last Saturday and it looks like there is more to come.
At the athletics track this evening watching Small & Shouty run around in the rain while I sup coffee. I almost feel sorry for her.

How much work have you got left to do, bg13? It seems as if you have been repairing, rebuilding, refitting and equipping for yonks.

It's been pretty grim here as well for the last few days. Dumped the bike at work this evening and got the train home as I didn't fancy a power shower before I got home. Had enough of quarterly reporting already this week but at least I have beer and curry to look forward to tomorrow night :)

    Whose bone?

    Evening gusseteers,

Worked out why this renovation is taking so long, tried to fit a bedroom door today, farked about with it for ages before realising that the hole it's going into isn't as wide as i first thought!

    More renovation based innuendo tomorrow!

Exchanged conracts on the 'rents house and will complete tomorrow. I wont be there and it'll be sad to see the old place go, but hopefully by next week I'll be waltzing down the bank with a cheque big enough to make Barclays think I'm a drug dealer :)

    Evening pantyliners,

Sh1t diy interrupted this afternoon by a trip to the wifes upholstery class to help her lift in a chair that she is re covering. Bit of a gash afternoon but managed a beer on the way back.
Also need to apologise for anyone that's waiting on a delivery from Amazon as i think she has them busy with all her orders for stuff that we really don't need!

    Toodles

Ps looking forward to morning beers and a good win in the rugby tomorrow.
