I suppose its like being in prison - every year is a year closer to parole. As they say, marriage isn't a word, it's a sentence :)

I've returned to the cell after being let out to work for the day...

    Morning, stalkers.

Working from home today so just chilling with coffee and toast before putting in a shift.

Later is moving stuff out of the garage so I can get to the roof box and fit it to the car in readiness for taking The Boy to uni on Saturday. I envisage some creative packing will be required.

Don't suppose you want to let the smelly herbert actually travel inside the car!

    Afternoon c0ckfags,

Minor diy achieved now awaiting a friend who is wheel chair bound, he's going to give opinion of the layout of our 'wheelchair' friendly gite. We'll ply him with booze and cake to help him form an opinion!

Later I'll be buying another lottery ticket that will definitely win me enough to buy a big boat so i can fark off around the med getting pished.

    Afternoon walkers,
Another busy day fixing other people's mistakes, I think shooting them should be encouraged. Thinking up ways of dealing with the old dear's neighbour. They are having a new house built in the place of the current one but seem to be creeping onto her land. Needless to say I've told them I'm onto them and want to have words. Really could do without this kind of sh!t.

Making them travel in the roofbox is more important if collecting them from uni. I'll be taking the lad to Brum on Sunday afternoon. It's a couple of days before his 21st so we are out for Sunday lunch before I take him up. Must try to stay awake. Fortunately the car is big enough for him, all his junk and a bicycle to fit inside. Need to bring back his old bike with the broken frame to strip the parts off it. Still need to buy him a replacement frame.
Other than that, I need a beer.

I hope you don't do any 'Andy and Lou' renditions when he's around...

Working from home today as Stressbags car needs its MOT and service. Its getting to that age where the bills get bigger but it has got loads of luggage space, so once we've packed Stropteen off to uni next year (hopefully) then well get shot of it and she can make her own way back :)

He's a civvy so wouldn't be able to drink anywhere near as much as what I does but the odd 'feck off' would have me giggling.

    Morning fweaks,

More diy here, i really have had enough of it but keep plodding on. Plaster board again today, having to do some delicate cuts which is not my area of expertise!

    Anyhoo,

Tea and cake time so it's not all bad. I've been looking around the other areas of the forum, which is scary as I'm not sure how to talk to non crudders! What i needs is a chain retention device for an actual bike thing but i might offend the snowflakes. Any assistance will be appreciated and abused!

We all know you're not going to ride a bike so stop faffing about and spend the money on booze.

That'll be something called a 'wheel'. Without one at the rear end of the bike thing the chain will drag on the floor and progress will be very difficult.

    Evening Slobs and N0bs,

Easing towards the weekend after a proper busy day in the office. Had the hot marketing girl sitting close by to brighten things up though.

    Now contemplating what to drink.

    Evening Wastrels,

Busy weekend filled with jobs, many of them un-necessary. Think I will go to work tomorrow for a rest.

The folks house sale is getting closer as the other lot's solicitors didn't have any proper questions to ask. So will probably be exchanging and completing next month, fingers crossed.

    What’s diy?

Warm but about to hiss down out there, shame because I’m actually using a bike for once today for a commute and later is the new fun bike.

A new fun bike? What you got, TLW1?

    Morning, rimmers.
It is hissing down here and a weather warning is in place. That doesn't bode well for today's planned office move as I have to transport all my shizzle to another building. It's only about 100m away but a lot of rain can fall in that distance.
To add to the fun the auditors are in this week spreading joy and happiness. Bah!

Our internal audit lot (aka 'The Men In Black') are coming over in a month or so. We've got the shredder on standby.

In other news, Stropteen turns eighteen today so we're taking her out for dinner tonight. Guess who's driving

Bath fitted, tiling almost complete, just flooring and doors and upstairs is done! Also done a trip to drop chums at the airport which is a win as i can now sober up a bit.
