    Good morning donkeez dikz,

Good to hear that people are 'milking their bishops' whatever that means!

Slight hangover this morning as our latest gite guests were forcing boozes down me last night, I didn't put up much of a fight to be fair!
Bit damp here today so some indoors stuff will happen and got some guests in the new gite later on today.

“Milk The Bishop” is the euphemistic term I think.
Must be a full time job now :)

    Evening buttmonsters,

Did some mincing about today and eneded up changing a leaking bathroom sink tap that was leaking. First bit of diy in our main house! It'll surely leak!

    More blah tomorrow!

Out mountain biking or something weird like that?

I rode a bike today, oddly enough. Now stuffing my face as riding bikes makes me as hungry as a fat person. Onwards to more tax dodging :)

  • I wandered into the works earlier and my Heckler is hiding under empty boxes in fear of being taken out for a ride.

I should put it somewhere safer really.

  • Day out in town following up admin chores. Meh. I have homework to read as a result. Double meh!

May ride a bike tomorrow, may not. There's one in the shed I finished building 3 months ago that I've not yet actually ridden outside the gates...

Shock, horror, I'm riding again tomorrow - in London rush hour. It's actually quite good fun as its a bit like mountain biking with the state of the roads. And the obstacles are made of metal and move, just to keep things interesting.

    Evening Wangles of the Spaz,

Lots of pedalling, lots of work so am refuelling with grape juice. Tomorrow's a half day with a spot of working from home so not too bad, then off to Bristol on Saturday for a uni open day. Good excuse to drive The Panzer.

Getting up at stupid o'clock (work sort of getting up time) tomorrow morning to drive to Brizzle for a uni open day. The joys. Good excuse to drive The Panzer though, every cloud...

    Evening Calcutter Splutterers,

Just got back from Bristol. Bit knackered but saw loads of the Uni and the veterinary site near Weston. Had a full car load as Stropteen brought two of her mates alomg. Now tucking into a mahoosive G&T as a little reward for my chauffeuring :)

    Afternoon losers,
TLW has won, he’s clearly the most insane one in these parts.
How was Brizzle Stevo? We’ve got Bath next week.
Good weekend with a bit of doing stuff and lots of not doing stuff.

Pretty good overall, course seems good but accommodation a bit so so and the uni is spread across loads of different sites (in particular the clinical vet site is 14 miles out of town). It is on her list though.

Good luck with Bath. She'll apply to a couple without visiting then take a look around if she gets an interview.

    Evening weekend weirdos,

Taking the kids out of the cellar sounds dodgy!

Done golf today, jacuzzi and had some grape juice!

Back to the dodgy diy tomorrow.

    Evening sherman tankers,

I've spent the day turning large sheets of plaster board into smaller pieces of plasterboard, some i was actually able to screw onto the wall!

    Evening Peckerheads,

I've prorogued work early and headed out for a crafty beer. Tomorrow is my Friday as I'm headed North tomorrow evening for some more chucking and clearing out. Does mean an early start in the car to drive to work, mind.

    Evening c0ckfags,

Busy day today, fettled the chickens door this morning and had a 'sports afternoon' as it's called in the military! Mate and his wife came over and we drank boozes all afternoon, now feeling slightly fatigued!

Back on the shyte diy tomorrow!

    Is that legal?

    Good day, fellows.
I have been absent for a few weeks due to various holiday activities, illness, a couple of hospital appointments and a quite severe case of CBA.
Can't remember if I said but the results of the MRI on my knee have shown two tears in the meniscal cartilage, damage to one of the ligaments and degenerative arthritis in my knee cap. It looks like a knee replacement is on the cards for this sorry Crudder.
A nice week in West Wales helped get over the knee problem but I then came home and had a nasty bout of gout in my foot which resulted in a week off work. If I was a horse I'd be shot!
I haven't ridden a bike for nearly a month and I am very pi$$ed off.

On the bright side the rugby season has started and the mighty Dragons have their first home game this weekend.

That may be more applicable to some people...

Jumping in the car in an hour or so for a trip North - possibly the penultimate one for quite a while if all goes well on the house sale. I am preparing to be mildly bored for several hours.

    Morning, purple helmets.

It's Fryday and bacon and egg rolls are incoming.

Half day today so I am going to procrastinate for as long as possible before darting in to The Big City for lunch and a bit of shopping.

    Mmmmmmmm bacons!

    Morning bell endz,

Curry out with friends last night which included boozes so not feeling brand new at the moment. Friend of theirs had taken along some home made vodka and a very nice toffee vodka which is not helping the current situation!

Working today then a touch more socialising this evening.

I scoffed a whole pack of 8 rashers of bacon to myself this morning. That set me up pretty well for the day :)

Did load of chucking out, met friends and rellies up North and am rewarding myself with a spot of grog. Have to finish the stash before the house is sold or it'll just go to waste!
