    Morning Bournville Boulevardeers,
Bit fresh out there this morning, winter is coming. I think eating more to build up energy reserves to get through is the way forward. I've actually managed to lose weight over the last few weeks without even trying. More bacons and more cakes is the way to resolve the situation.
Need to do lots of dull stuff with the 'rents finances to sort out the probate business. Inheritance tax, it's so dull I could turn into Stevo if I'm not careful. I shall vent my frustration by thinking of different ways of murderising my neighbours.

I don't think I've done any of that for over 3 weeks now. I have been doing a bit of peddling though, but that's what they pay me for so I do try on occasion.

    Morning, uphill gardeners.

I'm only just recovering from my weekend away. Much, much alcohol was imbibed and I suffered as a result.
Axe throwing was a laugh and I now feel suitably qualified for the zombie apocalypse, as long as the zombies walk towards me very slowly and in a straight line.
We spent most of Saturday either under railway arches or in backstreet boozers or getting rained on. All in all it was a success.

V68 - don't forget to dig a suitably sized hole or locate a suitable ditch before you start murderising your neighbours. Planning is the key to a successful murderisation.

Nah, you just need an old vinyl record collection like on Shaun of the Dead.

Any supermarket will provide zombie type targets to practice on, looking forward to seeing the evening news for an update on how it goes!

    'lo, window lickers.

Also WfH today. I have had a hair cut, been to the bike shop, had a leisurely lunch AND sent a few work-related e-mails. It must be time to finish now.

    Good morning, chicken chasers.

Anyone seen Delia Hogue's glut of posts in the forums? I can't decide if Delia is a spammer or a moron.

Today I am updating a load of documents. A simple task normally, but our IT department have decided the workforce is a dangerous bunch of cyber vandals and have disabled about 90% of the commands and options in Word. I will therefore be outputting documents that look like they have been produced on a 1989 Amstrad word processor. Cnuts!

In other news, my MiL is poorly and has come to stay with us for an unspecified time. Deep joy.

This is a massive concern of mine, she has mentioned a few time that we don’t use the bedrooms on one side (odd shaped house that isn’t connected upstairs)

WFH - good walk with hound this morning and another run later

    Morning deviants,
Mild Thursday hangover is present with added fire in my belly after a decent curry as well. Be very glad you're not sharing an office with me. Managed to pedal this morning, that was hard work.
Upped the ante with the neighbours this morning, found out last night they have built their loft conversion too high. I've asked their architect if he knew about it and he was rather surprised. Now waiting to see what happens before I grass them up to building control. No doubt it will be my fault they've done it wrong, they might realise one day it's best to be more considerate of other people if you want them to do the same to you.

No danger of that for me, she had the decency to shuffle off about 6 months before we got married. But having said that my old dear might stay over some nights as she doesn't like being in the house on her own and it might be a bit tough for her over the next few weeks.

Built a door today, it sort of fits in the hole it is intended for. I usually struggle to fit my wood in dodgy holes!

Shoot sleep, bright side, managed to watch a couple of films

Today is the park run followed by the final long run - typically the only week I’ve followed the training plan is the taper week

    Later is drinks with friends

    Yeah, damn those taper weeks!

    Morning trans people!

Went Angouleme for the rugby last night, cracking game but no boozes as I was driving! Out for a barby later though the weather has that 'British summertime' look about it! Definite chance of boozes though so it should be a good one.

    Morning Mongs,

A few random jobs to do up North then off to see the old dear. I was due to drop in on some family friends on the way back but they had to cancel so instead I'll go test drive a car down in Yorkshire. No point getting home too early :)

    Morning bishop bashers,
Still snotty but managed to ride a bike yesterday, ride was spoiled by the knuckle dragger that pulled out on me as I was heading home. He didn’t appreciate my advice to look where he was going as he told me I didn’t count as I was only on a bike. I gave him a little more advice as to what he could do, for some reason he decided he wanted me to pull over so he could teach me a lesson. I thought it might be a stupid idea so decided to stop outside a pub so at least there would be witnesses if he was a big fokker. Quite big but he was all mouth and no trousers thankfully. So much for a ride to get away from the stresses of life.
Day of pottering today I think.

Afternoon sniffers of old womens dung hampers,

Been out to a chateau that was having a grand event, beers, foods, horsey types etc and not a Strawbridge in sight!

Promised a mate while slightly refreshed that i could chop three trees down that are in the way of his swimming pool build, the chopping will happen tomorrow. What really is the worst that could happen!

Something like this? (from 2:20 in) :)

Busy day, I took the plunge and put a deposit down on a car - looks like it'll be my Christmas pressie as I'll have to wait for the bloody thing to be built. Strifey is happy too as it could be a bit of a widow-maker. Anyone want to buy a Maz-duh? (one careful owner but not sure about the rest).

Watcha, gusset sniffers and link failures (Stevo 666).

This crudder has had a failure busy weekend. Bike rides, gardening, dad's taxiing and furniture moving taking up most of it.
Popped down to the velodrome yesterday to watch a mate ride the planks at a taster session. I love watching track riding. It's mesmerising. I haven't done it for a few years but wouldn't mind getting back in to it.

What motor are you getting, Stevo?
I was chatting to a mate today who is trying to decide whether to get an electric car or not. He thinks a Tesla Model X might suit him and it's 'only' £80K!!!

    Whoops. Here's a shorter one.

AMG Merc. The opposite of a leccy car, guzzles petrol like it's going out of fashion. And cheaper. Not sure how long the rear tyres will last though :)

C'mon! It's Monday. Up and at 'em!

Who am I kidding? It's Monday. Bleurgh.

AMG sounds a bit naughty, Stevo. You'd better start up a saving fund for tyres.

    Morning monkey spankers,
Bright and sunny but a tad fresh out there. Had to drive in as I was dropping the invalid off at work this morning, might have to bunk off early to pick her up as well. That would be a terrible shame obviously. Off to see the old dear later and sort out more paperwork.
The lad rang, he made it to his first lecture this morning and didn't even have a hangover. He's clearly more sensible than his father. He's getting a train back on Wednesday as he has the day off and has decided he wants his bike up there, he was going to wait until next term. Best I send him back with a couple of locks I suspect.
At least it's a proper AMG Stevo, makes me laugh when I see AMG badges on a diesel. I know they can make fast truck engines, but they just sound so wrong.

That's why I give MF plenty of stick about his 'AMG'. I went for the full fat version to prevent buyers remorse. 510bhp + RWD should be interesting :)
