    Evening potato counters,

It finally rained, the first substantial rain since June. This did not stop the open day at the local micro brewery, couple of pints were had.

Have a lovely Monday at work y'all!

That's just silly. Don't do it again!

    Morning, frottage fans.

The MiL is still with us, my dad is still ill and work sucks. Situation normal.

Today has so far consisted of coffee and procrastination. After lunch I may progress to disinterest and belligerence.

    Afternoon strokers,
Amazing that TLW is so daft he makes even bg look sensible.
Hope the old man improves and the mil fooks off JBA.
Visit to Gloucester yesterday was good but difficult. It was all a bit too familiar for my liking and the Mrs was well aware she may not see her big bro again. Glad we managed to get down there and she did see him.
Had to drive her into work today which was incredibly tedious, I'm much happier on two wheels.
Need to go in search of scoff and then I need to talk to people about switching jobs. Good to see JBA is following my lead with regard to disinterest and belligerence, I'm taking the credit even though he got there all on his own.

That's saying something. There must be cheaper and easier ways to have pain inflicted on yourself. As he's an F1 fan he should take a few tips from Max Moseley.

    Afternoon Skivers,

Pedalled in - quite fresh but it woke me up. Busy day at the office not helped by Mrs. 666 throwing a wobbly when I told her I had to go to a finance conference in Prague month - this clashes with her and Stropteen going out to some show on an evening and apparently I'm the only person on the planet who can look after the hound for a few hours  I politely pointed out I have to go and suggested she uses the next 5 weeks to line up one of her many local dog walking chums.

Also had a shot at using a mate's 'friends and family discount' on the car I'm buying as he works for the UK head office. The dealer promptly said they would have to fund it so no way as they'd already given a chunky discount, but if you don't ask you don't get.

    Good day, dingleberries.

Batten down the hatches. bg13 is inbound to Blighty.

I got home last night to find SWMBO had been to the garden centre and bought some little flowers. They have been transplanted to pots outside the front door. They look very pretty. However, autumn is here and the weather is getting worse. I have no doubt they will be de-flowered by the wind before the week is out and we will have nothing more than expensive twigs in the pots. I pointed this out to the best beloved and she told me to fark off! Sometimes I wonder why I bother.

    Morning clingons,
Bit fresh out this morning, but not unpleasant. Managed to wobble in to work at least. Has the border force been warned about the incoming threat that is bg?
Should be a fairly dull day here, nothing wrong with that.

When you inevitably get the blame for this you should point out it's been a long time since you deflowered anything. Then duck.

Stick some twigs in plant pots and get a T-shirt printed with 'I told you so' on it. Simple.

Afternoon loungers and scroungers. We are ready to repel the garlic scented hordes (well BG) from our green and pleasant land. It'll be a damn sight easier after 29th March next year though :P

Average day on the corporate hamster wheel. Stressbag and Stropteen were both telling me what a bad idea it was buying a new car, so I've studiously ignored them. Stropteen is more concerned she might not get a car bought for her I reckon, although I'll probably be able to find enough spare change down the back of the sofa to buy her something suitable, as she's only going to damage it :)

    Morning Englander douchebags,

I made it through customs safely on this side of the water though the Frenchies seemed amazingly happy to be rid of me, can't understand why!
Didn't see the old man last night due to my areival time but get that pleasure later today, by all accounts he isn't doing well.

Had a trip into the metropolis that is Northampton and what an awful town centre it is.

    More good news tomorrow!

    :( Good luck with everything.
Fairly standard day for me, rather dull but brightened by a visit to the pub later. Nice and sunny out in the wilds of Hanworth, unfortunately I'm stuck in here. Need to make a few phone calls about the probate stuff today, that's not the best way to brighten your day.

Hope things are better than you are expecting bg.

Busy stuffing my face before putting idiots right on basic stuff here. It's like a summers day down in The Big Smoke - got my t-shirt ready for the ride home later.

    Afternoon bumders

Glorious weather here today, sadly I had to take the afternoon off both working-and yes, genuinely I have been working the past couple of weeks rather than studenting- and to wait in for EDF to come and change my electricity meter. You can imagine how I reacted when they called three hours into the window they were due to arrive in, to tell me they weren't coming as they didn't have the right meter in the van.

    Tossers.
    Twats.
    Cunts.
    Cretins.
    Mongs.
    Fuckwits.

I've only been waiting four months for this to happen as they don't really do customer service stuff in rural areas and never have any availability until you've made a complaint and suggested you'd be reporting them to the ombudsman. Despite all this I somehow managed to avoid using any of those naughty words I've listed above, despite wanting to so badly, but when I described their customer service as "the shittest I've experienced for a while" the bloke got all aresy and and upset. Twats. Cunts. Fucktards. Bet the precious little snowflake would break down in tears if he had the kind of language I get from stressed farmers...

Did I mention, EDF are a bunch of cunts.

    Buddy,

EON aren't much better. They came round to fit smart meters at my folks place a few weeks back and found they didn't have the right adapter for them has meter so had to call another bloke out. In the end it took 3 of them 2 hours while I was waiting around twiddling thumbs.

Just taking the Maz-duh in to get a recall notice sorted then into work to deal with more idiots. On the bright side I'm out for beers tonight.

    Afternoon pantyliners,

Quickly got back into the swing of things at the old dears house, gallons of tea, tons of biscuits, shyte telly quizzy things and the daily fail newspaper. Though i did assist with some pruning of the fruit trees in the back yard, i doubt I'll be asked to do anymore as i was more slash and burn than the sympathetic pruning that was expected!

    Morning, window lickers.

Sounds like my kind of pruning, bg13.
Hope things are ok with your dad.

Today will mainly entail drinking coffee, eating cake (it's someone's birthday in the office) and then taking an early flyer to get my car MoT'ed.
Was planning on a spin around the Twrch Trail at Cwmcarn this evening but we are forecast for a month's rain in two days so I think I'll give it a miss. Storm Callum is making his presence known in these parts.

Tomorrow is one of those rare Saturdays when no dad's taxi services are required. In fact there is nothing planned until the evening when we are going to friends for dinner. There will be boozes.

Have you locked them in the basement? At least Stropteen has given up on her Friday after school activity which means I can go for a Friday beer from time to time.

Busy day - was due to work at home but that was scotched by some visiting ****wits from the Kingdom of Far Far Away so I here I am in the office. Think I might have a beer on the way home as it's Friday.

    Afternoon girls,

Had a chat with a grown up at the hospital, he was accompanied by a McMillan nurse. So it ain't looking great. To help put a smile on my chops I will help myself to some of his wine collection later, when i say collection i mean the five bottles in the rack in the kitchen! But as a smelly French person i can cast a critical nose over them!

I'm off as Tipping Point has just come on the telly box!

    Afternoon Tards of Phuck,
Bit of a dull day at work to say the least, still not getting any further with things. All a bit frustrating. I was always told battering people didn't help, but surely bashing their heads together a little bit won't do any harm. Looking forward to getting out of here and having a beer, not long to go at least and it's time to wobble home.

    Afternoon Gimps,

Enjoying the heatwave. Bacon sarnie and coffee at a local caff this morning sitting outside in a t shirt. Roll on global warming!

A few jobs to do this afternoon to keep the EPO off my back then Stropteen wants me to go running with her. She must fancy a lad at school if she's doing extra exercise, so hockey mask and chainsaw on standby.

Heatwave! Storm Callum is still making itself known around here. It's been pissistently raining and blowing a gale for the last 2 days.

    Afternoon, felching fans.
I am feeling spritely after a lie in until 9.30 this morning.
Nothing planned though so I have been lounging about watching TV and reading. About to go down to the supermarche for boozes for this evening and that's about it.

Looks like Wales has taken one for the team here. Honestly, it's like August here, went out in my jacket this morning and within a couple of minutes was sweating like TLW locked in an offy :)

What's that saying 'friends are the family you choose' as I wouldn't have chosen quite a few of my family. Which reminds me, I'll have to meet a few of them in December.

Stressbag seems to be stressed about nothing but apparently it's my fault, so avoidance is the best tactic for now. Luckily I've completed this weekends random jobs list so she's struggling to think of any revenge tasks so far :)
