Has bg run of with his sister in law?

Working from home, thought that would mean a chance to do bikes later, but apparently we will have time to mow the lawns

That or he got caught putting her in a ditch with her head on backwards.

Morning riders on the Hershey Highway,
Not as moist here as it was yesterday, still in the car unfortunately due to ferrying the invalid around. Bike is still in bits after Sunday's shenanigans anyway, Cotic is my only rideable bike at the moment but I don't like riding that into work as it's a fun bike and the scrotes might take too much of a shine to it. At least my body isn't aching as much now.
Change of jobs in a couple of weeks, I'm going from dealing with pains in the aris' to being the pain in the aris.
Off to see the old dear this evening. Hope all is well with family of bg, and the rest of you I guess.
    Onwards, to mediocrity...

I'm sure I posted something in here on the train home last night but there could have been a wine-induced error. Anyhow I pedalled it off this morning and am keeping myself busy dealing with idiots. This is forecast to last until the end of the day...

V - are you now in purchasing or something like that?

    Hope bg is OK.

    Watcha, wanklings.

I also thought I had posted on here this morning. :?

Currently in the middle of an e-mail argument with my wanky manager. It's hard trying to explain to an idiot who does everything he can to avoid responsibility that he has a responsibility and must stop trying to avoid it. Blimmin' tosser.

In other news, SWMBO took her mother back up to North Wales on Sunday. She is not getting any better and we can't do any more to help so home is the best place for her where a treatment plan can be put in place. We now have the extra worry of her being so far away, but on the flip side I don't have to suffer all the soap operas, Strictly and all the rest of that shite TV any more.

I see Exposure have released a carbon-bodied Joystick. I want one. I don't need one and cannot justify getting one. But carbon. 8)

Yes. Distinct lack of product knowledge up there has been causing problems, probably the weakest department at the moment which obviously impacts sales. Only a sideways move and I had to fight to get more than my basic but eventually met half way which I'm not particularly happy about. But due to a few changes in here I think trade sales would get harder, the septics are only interested in retail and I won't play that game any more.

    Evening bumders,

Dunno if it was this web site or the old dears interwebz but thought I'd posted the other day.......ho hum! Thanks for the mentions team.

Not much change with the old boy though the 'prime care' team are involved, they'll be bringing us a hospital bed and the old boy by the weekend, he'll be getting constant care at home then. I will miss our trips to the hospital as half way down the long corridor to his ward there is a sign directing you to 'HAND THERAPY' which always makes me smile!

In other news the miserable sis in law is not in a ditch as I can't find one big enough, miserable witch, did i mention she was a bit miserable?
Got a mate and his mrs popping down from Lincoln tomorrow, it'll be good to have a chat and a laugh but no beers will be involved.

    What-ho, chaps.

Sounds a bit worrying for you, bg13. At least your dad will be at home and that is important for many people. I hope all goes as well as can be expected.

If you can get your sis-in-law over to South Wales we have some very big ditches (reens) that should accommodate her. String is also available. By the way, is she miserable?

Today I am expecting the fall out from yesterday's spat with Wanky Manager. In preparation I think a chat with HR may be prudent. However, before any of that malarkey, coffee!

    Morning spazwangles*
A bit moist and gloomy out there, but I managed to wobble in at least.
I must confess I thought I'd posted on Sunday evening and then just thought it was me going daft. But it seems we have had a collecting going daftness on that front.
Does all sound a bit grim and very familiar bg, sorry to hear that. For what it's worth with my old man we found the care at home was excellent, lots of people coming round to do things. We actually had to ask them to tone it down a bit as moving him was uncomfortable so we asked them to only do non-essential things when they were necessary rather than every visit because that's what the book said. Brother in law is now in a similar state unfortunately.
Started telling customers I'm sick of dealing with them and am moving to get away from them. Some of them are even saying nice things about me.
Tea wallah is off today so I've had to make my own again. This is no good. Later is beer and curry, that is good.
    Onwards and upwards...

    Evening Ditch Diggers,

Long day including the dentist and dealing with idiots and random questions which only pop up when you're busy. So all in all painful in more than one way. I'm going to solve this by going home and drinking while reading some reviews of my soon to be uber-wagon. Not uber as in the taxi service that is.

    Morning worms,

Up early as the old boys medical kit is arriving so he can come home, not sure the hospital bed will fit the bedroom the old dear wants him in so i may need to 'fettle' some stuff!

Good to hear you are all enjoying your respective corporate hamster wheels, makes me think I'm missing out on some fun!

I was having fun 'till I found out Macron will make you an illegal immigrant next year and ship you back home! Better crack on and book my ski trip to France in January.

    Afternoon plunge clungers,
I'm really struggling to keep my eyes open today, hopefully they haven't heard me snoring. Drove the Mini in today as I had to drop the girl in, it may be slow but it does put a smile on my face. It's a bit bouncy though so can't travel too far between loo breaks.
Hope all goes well with delivery of bed and other stuff bg. I'm sure the old man will be glad to be home, even if you are there.
Better go and have a coffee shortly to try and stay awake.

    It's Friday, freaks.

I'll be smashing back some dead piggy this morning in preparation for a weekend of meat and beer with mates. We are off camping, doing a circular walk on Saturday and then riding the same route in reverse on Sunday. In between there will be laughing, barbecuing and drinking.
It's also POETS day today so I will be legging it before 1 o'clock.

    For now, coffee!

    Happy damned Fryday ditch diggers,
Sounds like fun JBA, more fun than my weekend anyway. I'll be off to the cafe shortly to eat lots of fried piggy. Today is my last Fryday in the sales office. I've started handing customers over which feels great.
Wobbled in on the old Marin this morning as it has a rack and I had to carry my big motorcycle lock and chain in with me to leave here. After a couple of bikes got nicked from the bike rack at work I took to stashing my bike in the office, unfortunately others did the same with their worthless chunks of pig iron and leaving them in stupid places blocking doors so bikes have now been banned from the building. Next week the good bike will be locked with that and a D lock so hopefully the local scrotes will leave it alone.

Working from home as I’ve got man flu, hope it goes soon as I want to go cycling and then to the pub for a party later

Well done V - no more cu**stomers. Because they're not always right regardless of what anyone says.

Packing up shortly, pedal home and it'll be cider o'clock when I land back home. Survived my BUPA health assessment and apparently I'm not going to die which is good news. Luckily the young blonde health advisor didn't completely wreck my blood pressure reading.

Macron needs me Stevo as theres no one else in France that can put away as much of the cheap red wine that the other French people avoid than me!

    Evening lickers of the cleft,

Hospital bed and lots of gubbins pitched up today, finally! Had to rearrange the whole house! Also had the pleasure of phoning British Gas about the old folks Hive heating controls, their attempts to fob me off failed though they kept me on the peak rate phone line for 40 minutes, my next call to them will involve an invite to inspect some ditches I've been working on!

Have a bon weekend one and all

Might have been a tiny bit early for the pub.

Trying for some job avoidance for the rest of the day until dinner and drinks time this evening. May start looking at skiing holiday options for January.

Not wrong there bg, been a bit of a shitter.
Took the Mrs to the fracture clinic today, very exciting. Apparently it’s healing well but will take more time before it’s fully healed bone wise, soft tissue a few months after that.
This means more of me running around after her. It’s not like she has to do the same for me every time I break something in a silly accident.
Talking of which, a mate got knocked off the other day and is now in hospital with 3 broken ribs and a chest drain. That’s a familiar story, nurses were fit when I did the same. Certainly helped distract me at any rate.

    Evening Mongs,

Roll on 2019 I think. I've knackered myself out pedalling and drinking plonk. Now vegging out watching World War Z.
