Froome's Data

This has got to be a career ending day for Vayer no? Surely any journo that asks him for a quote now can ONLY be interested in smearing whichever rider the piece is about? Swart has beautifully (and I mean that literally), and totally discredited him. He has shown Vayer up as knowing absolutely nothing about sport science whatsoever.
Remeber all those people that criticised Sky for saying that Training in cycling was poor becasue they had had drugs to hide behind instead? Surely this is a massive confirmation of this statement. Festina pored so much money into their teamwide doping that they were left with Vayer as a trainer. Clearly he can have brought very little to the team.
Appreciate this is an internet forum (and one that pre-dates twitter, so old fashioned), but not everyone reads twitter; and even those who do, if you're not paying attention a few hours within the window of it occurring, you miss it. Me for example.
There's an awful lot of dross to wade through, and I often CBA, especially on my phone.0 -

I think he filled the bidons0 -
I'm starting to think maybe Festina didn't dope at all.0

Rick is right. Vayer and his goons are prepared to shout loud and often so gain traction (and followers). Only way to discredit them is to constantly show them up for what they are. And who can be arsed to do that? For all the good Swart has done today it'll be forgotten by tomorrow. You need a constant supply of Swarts to counteract the lunacy.0

Not sure if that works without a Twitter account though...0 -
Yeah there's still a lot of dross to wade through to work out what he's going on about.
I tried for 3 mins, gave up.
Let's face it, if a moderator of pro-race forum on bike radar with 26,000 posts CBA, no-one else will.0 -
Vayer says "science is a tool for cheaters"
Ha ha! yes! you'd think this single statement would be enough to kill him with fire but the world isn't made that way0 -

Seems to be 4-6 hrs ago from present time that he got stuck into Vayer and some chump called Larsen.0 -

It was good. One of the VR guys who is very Froome/Sky must be doping got involved too.
Vayer looked like a prime plum.
Regarding VR, despite me 'lacking objectivity', all the evidence that anyone can put forward is:
1) Massive transition between Poland and Vuelta
2) Leinders
3) JTL
4) Millar
Right.0 -
1) Massive transition between Poland and Vuelta
(And besides Sky were chasing points in that race to get a big team for Cavendish at the Worlds. Froome and Stannard's job was to try and get into breaks or help chase them down so Blythe could get to sprint for Lotto. The more punchy and tactically aware Cummings and Kennaugh were the GC guys).Twitter: @RichN950 -

This is the difference I see between Froome and Armstrong and other dopers. There's no real evidence just a lot of Internet talk with no substance0 -

Put simply donkey to racehorse, nothing will sway them from the opinion that it could only be one thing, aided and abetted by Leinders.0 -

Windy Millar? That's stretching even for them
Umm. How do they fit JTL into the picture? Enlighten me0 -

Which shows how really dumb they all are.
Instead of using the genuine talent available, BC selected then chased some unknown, middle of the pack fodder because somehow they knew in advance he was going to be the world's greatest dope responder.
Yes, that certainly is a solid foundation to build any argument upon."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -

All part of Sir Dave's masterplan.
The other part of his masterplan was to dope BC and Sky all the way through, but not get caught. Lucky it is.0 -

Ok folks. I've been out at Christmas markets and wine tasting all day. Anyone want to provide a summary of the day's play? Sounds like plenty of off-season action...0

Bayer's "celebrity" only exists on twitter. People that quote him tend to be the journos more active on twitter or on internet sites in generalRichmond Racer 2 wrote:"]"]"]"]This has got to be a career ending day for Vayer no?

Proof that Sky are doping.
So They doped him from Sep 2011 when he won KOM jersey at ToB for Rapha Condor, then right through his 2012 season for Endura, and then stopped doping him once he actually started riding for them and had a Sky jersey on his back?
I hesitate to ask because it's a glimpse into the Dark Matter of the minds that come up with this....but...why?0 -
