Assos have sent me the new Mille shorts today as well. They replace the Neo Pro as 'entry level' but are for the more robust athlete. You can feel there's a smidge more room in them than the Equipe and Cento at the same size.

I see Parentini have a Mossa gilet in the summer 17 catalogue.

Yes, the Ognitempo. It's a Mossa lite to compete with the Perfetto. It was almost launched last year but put off because winter. Looks good. I'm afraid I'm out of the loop and they've not really been in touch recently. Hopefully I should be able to get one in to review. The addition of the gilet is, IMO, absolutely the right step. They're been missing that and, as the Fawesome shows, that can be a very big seller.

    There's the Espresso.

    To come:

    Giro Factor
Assos tiburu, habu, tiburu shorts, mille shorts, team vest, team jersey (yeah, I spent some money)
    Castelli thermoflex knee warmers
    Rapha CX ls jersey
    Funkier base layer

    and some other stuff.

A gilet is definitely what I'm after at the moment. Bought a Fawesome just before Christmas and it's seen plenty of wear, but usually on top of my Alpha Jersey or Pro Team Jacket (and on one really cold ride, on top of my Alpha Jacket!). Have tried it on with both a Rapha Pro Team jersey and a La Passione Raw jersey and the cut around the arms and shoulders is just a little bit too big. It doesn't hug under the arm pits and across the chest as well as I'd like- so I'm in the hunt for a new one.

I really liked the look of the dhb Aeron gilet, however having seen the Rapha Brevet gilet in Chartreuse I'm sorely tempted to plump for that one.

One of the great things about the Assos ones is that they're essentially jerseys at heart. So they have that all round cling. A lot of the others are shells which leads to that need to get it bang on right or it will be looser/tighter than you want. The Rapha ones are very good but suffer in that respect. On the flip side, the Assos ones aren't weatherproof. They're not even, strictly, windproof. But they are very warm and, if you wear the intermediate S7 underneath or a Craft windstopper base layer, you can take care of all of that.

I have to have a clear out shortly. On lots of the stuff I've reviewed, to make room for more. All of it will be very cheap as I don't want to make anything out of it other than to get more stuff in to review. First dibs in this thread?

No I am most certainly not :D Not far off mind.

No, not really. I'll aim to get some pics but, it will be:

My Rivelo knicks in large (since I now have 2 x pair of tiburu shorts)
My Parentini Shark bibtights (large) since I now the Castelli plus the Tiburu PLUS leg warmers!
My Lusso Max Repel bibtights (large) for the same reason
    My Lusso Legerro jacket (large)
The Helly Hansen Warm crew base layer (can't remember size)

None of them will be expensive.

Bender, do you do shoes as well as clothes? How would you rate the Giro Empire vs. SLX vs. ACC? Looking at getting a new pair of shoes and I like these ones but not sure which to go for or what the difference is.

Hah! Watch this space. I used to own the Empire, which were lovely but on the tight(er) side and am about to do an AAC review. Had the SLX as well.

FWIW, I'd still get the AAC over the others for increased functionality. And, if you have a look round, they're dead cheap to come by. £125 on Sigma, I think!

I wish :D They're £160 and only have the red, I like the white one more than others. I wouldn't be caught dead in the red ones (no offence to anyone that has them)

Ah thanks but I'm looking at the Empire. Love the look of the laces :)
I found these for £155 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Giro-Empire-A ... SwOtdYULAV which might fit
But I still haven't decided between the ACC or SLX or normal (doesn't help that I can't really work out what the difference is)

From memory, very little. Each of them has the EC90 sole but the SLX is a lighter version of it. The Empire AAC and Empire SLX are current, I think the Empire is just what the AAC became.

Anyone know about these arm warmers?
    Gore Bike Wear Universal 2.0

Looks like a pretty good price, I'm probably a small so that's £10 - any good for pairing with a dhb aeron SS jersey for rides around the 6-8C range? (Slow club rides with a lot of stopping and waiting for people to catch up :o )
