I've not seen this mentioned anywhere, but here's a good blog about how the French are finally embracing new cycling

Some quotes:Fred Grappe wrote:First we had to acquire the confidence of the sporting directors and mechanics, then the riders had to gradually adapt to the new team operating model. Finally, we recruited three qualified coaches, each with high-level skills in training, and a high level of expertise in engineering. We also have the web platform which manages the entire training process. My motto is to always make the small innovations for the medium and long termRomain Bardet wrote:This year’s team is nothing like the one I turned professional with in 2012. There is more structure now, more trainers, more training camps, and all my data is analysed. Before I didn’t have a power meter or a coach, and you just tried to do what you could
People ask what innovation Sky brought in and on forums and twitter answered it was stuff like 'warming down'. It wasn't. It was their emphasis on training and trainers.Twitter: @RichN950 -

The Phil Gaimon Podcast is good but in particular he has a long conversation with Thomas Dekker who brings the standard Dutch Honesty and bluntness to his cycling, and his doping, tale

It's really stretching the definition of Pro but I suppose it's kind of Racing and he seems to get a lot of free stuff. Plus given the amount of Baby photos in the PR thread...

Interesting comment from Quintana in Procycling this month - Along the lines of "I'd like to learn English and French. One is the language of the peloton the other the language of the Tour de France"0
